ok, so this is what I have decided to do.... I'll print out my wishlist from coach.com, on it is an Ali, Ergo tote, Ergo wallet and a couple of smaller items... then when I go in with my pce card I'll just hand over my list and if they want a $1000 sale they will just fill the order and if they say that Ergo is not available, oh well, then they just get a $400 sale. k sera sera :smile1:

I just called the store in Lexington, KY...after being put on hold 3 times so the SA could ask questions, I was told no. She said their DM was watching them closely to make sure they played by the rules. She said the reason was that they planned a big release for the Ergo and didn't want to sell out before it was released. I am bummed becuase Jane is sending me a PCE card and that is what I had planned to purchase.

I answered the poll with the 'denied'. My SA, lovely thing that she is, said no to my request of the Sig Ergo that I had on my list. I will go back this week after work and get a matching wallet and maybe an Ali. But the recent broken locks scare me.

Yes, went in and ordered 3 items last Wed, including the Ergo keyfob in pink which I picked up Friday and then ordered another one in turquoise. Got the discount both times. It didn't seem like a big deal to the manager and I suspect I could have ordered anything from the Ergo line.

While I was in line to purchase my new Hamptons Weekend Demi Satchel, an SA gave the girl ahead of me the same idea about buying something the same price and getting the ergo later. It works if the item youre returning and the Ergo are the EXACT same price because they just do it as an even exchange. They dont go through all the paperwork of refunding the sale and then re-ringing it, they just confirm that the MSRP is the same and swap the bags. It should work so long as you ask for an "even exchange" when you go back for your ergo.
