Hi! I'm fairly new here, do more lurking than posting. I just got the patent leather ergo tote in pond off of ebay! I know the bag is a few years old so I had never seen it IRL. I was surprised to see that it was really crinkly looking. Is everybody's like this, it's hard to tell in pictures? Sorry if this is a dumb question but this is my first patent leather bag and I usually don't pay much attention to them. TIA

Yes, sunshine, the ergo pond patent tote can be crinkly. I've seen lots of them when they were at the outlets and some are more crinkly than others but they all have a degree of crinkliness. I hope this helps. I think it's a great bag! The leather is so nice. My daughter owns one.

I should've gotten the magenta one as well but I have no luggage space and can only carry 1 purse so I didn't get it at the outlet I was at. I'm still determined to get that one, especially after I've dreamt about it twice!

kathyrose, that bag is very pretty! I'm too afraid to buy it myself because of the metallic but I like to admire everyone else's!

I own a pond patent tote, and just bought the chocolate brown tote off the bay! *fingers crossed that it is in good condition*

My hubby bought me a red patent ergo hobo for Christmas, but I used it for the first time yesterday, and I fell in love, so I'm joining the club. My goodness, it's so roomy! I don't have any accessories for her yet, I went to my outlet last week and they didn't have anything I thought would look good on her, so I'll wait until I have her dressed up before I post pics.

Wake up Ergo Lovers!!

I am rediscovering my love for Ergo. I bought this white pleated hobo and I have used it for the past couple of days and its LOVE! I, I of course, love my black patent ergo hobo very much as well but I don't use it that much because its black.. and I just don't like to wear black all that often.. but its still my favorite bag.

I used to have 5 large ergo hobos, 2 large totes and 2 pleated satchels and the ergo convertible but I sold it all except the black patent ergo. I think I need to get more ERGO again! I am so tired of heavy bags! Ergos are the best!

Which one should I get next... The tote? :thinkin:

Yes, I'm a wierdo. All I own are ergos. Three of them. 10741-10765 and 11601, all black, large hobos, one in soft leather (my fav.), one in black sig with leather and the other in black sig with black patent trim (currently using due to the non-stop rainfall in NJ). Truth is, I could of had another bag this year or be lusting for one, but there is nothing that I have "fallen" for yet. I'm very fussy and nothing else has held up to the Ergo for me. Hopefully soon!!!

I just got in Pink at Macy's on super sale - ok her we go

$249.00 w a 50% plus a 30% because it was on clearance and then a 20% because I applied and got the card.. total cost $154 with tax... I just LOVE IT I am now a mega fan:yahoo::nuts:
