Epi Mandarin owners - please help!!

I was wondering why they don't put alcantra lining inside a speedy.:weird:

I always thought it was because speedies were supposed to be able to lie flat like keepalls, but I could be wrong. And alcantara would drive up the price too (after all, an alma retails for almost $300 more).

Thats pretty interesting. My mum has this bag and is always complianing that it smells like cat pee. I just assumed it was her overlysensitive nose. I guess I'll have to take a huff and see. I will suggest to her the baking soda and maybe the coffee beans. YUM! This place is great.

I have a friend with a Mandrin Jasmin and she put a box of baking soda in the bag and left it outside for the day. It worked and it doesn't smell anymore! Couldn't hurt to try.

A friend had the same issue with her mandarin speedy and nothing could remove the horrid smell:sad2: She returned it to LV and purchased another bag .. they are aware of this epi colour 'smell' issue.....maybe something to do with the colouring process of the leather???
