I am thinking of buying the Cannes in yellow and I've posted a thread asking about it. Do use it as a purse? Someone said that it is a cosmetic bag. What do you think? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Have a question I haven't managed to find info about.. Are Epi's all leather, or can parts of the bag be synthetic materials?

I bought a black Lussac at Yoogie's Closet that I believe to be authentic, but the handles and the little "bits" on the inside behind where the zipper ends on each side just seem so very much like plastic. But it's an old bag and they still look great, so I'm really not sure.

Apologies if this is slightly off topic, but would LOVE your input on this :)

Hi Ella. Welcome to the forum!:smile1:

To answer your question generally, some epi bags do have synthetic linings (seems to be mostly smaller handbags from the early 90s), but I don't know of other parts being synthetic. The Lussac handles seem close to the ones on my epi St. Jacques, and from what I can tell they're leather. But epi leather is very stiff usually, especially on a structured bag, and does have a plastic feel in a way. I hope someone else can give you a more definitive answer but I hope this helps a little.

It is all leather. Except for the few with "vuittonite" lining, all of them were made of all leather.
