The center stone is a natural 2.3ct, D, VVS2.
I wouldn’t call this an upgrade since I still have my original engagement ring, but I’ve found a love of antique diamonds in the last couple of years and this one just came home to me.

My engagement ring and wedding band. 3.34 carat oval (D color grade, I don’t remember clarity) set in a platinum band with an 18k gold solid wedding band. I LOVE jewelry, so it’s super fun to look at everyone’s pretty jewels!

Well, mine isn’t an engagement ring, not 16 carats…I bought it myself years ago as I’m a Siamese cat Mom..(I also have a platinum Fancy Intense Blue which I’d like to trade to a Vivid Blue diamond one day..
My ring is just being remounted, as I wore it All of the time and the shank wore too thin, and the diamond turned..
It’s GRAFF GIA DIF Marquise, 1.08ct-one day I’ll upgrade that to a 2ct DFL Type 11a XXX, but I can’t afford that yet, but I love my diamond..

I’ve got a degree in gemmology, and although my ring isn’t big, it’s worth more than some of the much bigger ones here, but the pictures don’t really do the diamond justice..one day I’ll upgrade it to a really amazing marquise..if I don’t spend the money on a Blue..x
