I saw the red. I had it on hold because I just KNEW I'd want it. I went in and looked at it and left with the mono. It is a pretty red but maybe the black glazing and the plain side pockets are what didn't do it for me!
I believe LV now offers a spa for certain leather bags and they address corner wear. Not sure what they do but they do something. Haven't personally seen anything on it or know anyone who has used the spa service yet, but I do know that they offer spa service. It's a new thing.
I have the noir. I have had it about a week now and I can tell that there will be wear, but I think it is inevitable with this design and empreinte in general. I had some corner wear on my old luminuese as well, but on the darker colors it isn't as noticeable. After a week I can already see the tiniest amount of wear that I attempted to catch in the picture below, it is barely visible and I don't know if it really shows up much in the picture. It is pretty small and I expected it because of the design. I still love this bag and I am not going to worry about it. I knew going into it that the folded corners design wasn't ideal, but I loved the rest of the bag so much I wasn't that worried about it.
