Thinking about this some more, I think their first "gift" should go to everyone who has ever received PCE as a way of communicating their plans and easing us into the new normal

I stopped by a FP store on Monday and picked up 3 purses, $445 total purchase. No gift. I guess this is something that isn't offered to everyone who walks into the store. Maybe it's only for existing customers who are already in their system.

Hello BTW :wave: ... I'm new here. Just caught the Coach bug. I know, I'm doomed. LOL

Well I'm batting 1000. No PCES, no invite to the FP presale , not invited to the FOS and didn't get this email either.

I really do need to stop buying anything from Coach. How much louder can they say they don't want my money?

I haven't bought anything in a while, my last Coach purchase was off FOS and I returned most of it, several sales ago. The last bag I bought was off ebay. Support the resellers, I guess.

EDIT: I have the love red Daily in my cart on the FP sale, have had it there a couple of weeks, but I cannot seem to pull the trigger. Instead, I take a tour of my Coach "inventory" at home and decide I have enough, too much. I should return some. Maybe I will.

The "new'" Coach just doesn't want me at its party.

I had not been receiving PCE emails, and the few times I would go in the store though they would reset me to receiving emails I would always get turned off somehow (even with online purchases as well). But now of course they can send me emails showing their products :-)

Same here... They stopped giving me pce's and now I am getting all these emails about their new products. :huh:

I've bought only coach for about a decade. 2 weeks ago I bought a MK wallet and yesterday a kate spade bag. Everything about coach has been starting to annoy me lately which has prompted me to branch out to other brands. Especially FOS, it's really sad that so many of us have paranoia about getting banned. Coach is the only brand I've ever worried about buying too much from.

Yeah you're right. I can't wait to see how this story will play out. They are making so many changes (or rumors of changes) at once..........no PCE, Semi-Annual sales, reducing FOS sales, fewer deletes to the outlet...........I really hope they know what they are doing.

I am reading this thread but am confused by all these abbreviations.

Can someone please explain what, PCES, FOS, FP stand for? And any other abbreviation I may be missing.

Also, I have a Coach Outlet store near my house. When I buy something up there I always make sure my e-mail address is in their system but I never receive any e-mails from them. Does anyone else have this same problem? I signed up for the e-mail list on the main website but never receive anything from them either.

I don't think their new strategy will work. Look what happened to J. C. Penney when they stopped offering coupons to their customers. Coach's stock is taking such a big hit too.

I hope they know what they're doing. Their products are great but if they play too many games people will stop buying.

PCE is the Preferred Customer Event, usually 25% off that was given every month; it is rumored that this sale will phase out, leaving only the semi-annual.

FOS is the Factory Online Sale, and FP just means a full-price Coach store.

Thanks for the help. How did you get on the list for the PCE? Like I mentioned in my post I have never been able to get any e-mails from them. The only thing I ever received were occasional coupons in the U.S. mail for the Coach Outlet store.
