Reminds me of the interview he did where he said spending 10 minutes a day with his kids seemed like a good amount of time.

Considering he has now at least 4 jobs (which I'm sure anyone working for him wouldn't be allowed to do) 10 minutes will probably not happen either.

they are probably better off for it....I doubt he has any idea how to nurture

He likes X because X is a male and too young to think for himself. Give it time once he has independent thoughts he’s on to his next favorite male child. Kind of like polygamous husbands only care/spend time with their male children then once they grow up they get kicked out because they are now competition. That stunt also gives off the vibes of using his kid as an accessory, IMO.

Also he gets a lot of attention from some people for being a great dad. He gets to pull Grimes' strings since she has been suing him for custody of the children they had together. I don't know what the current status of that suit.
He also can mess with the heads of his other kids by showing them that he favors X.
And I'm starting to wonder if he's carrying the poor kid around as a human shield to protect him from all the enemies he's made and continues to make.

Aren’t all his recently engineered kids boys? I thought I’d heard that he only chooses male embryos.
