He was promised a position doing government stuff. I don’t know where he will get the time to do that and manage all of his other business obligations. No wonder he wants a sister wives house for his spawn to all live together for his convenience.

I feel like his daughter’s hatred towards him is way bigger than just the political aspect. Her reasons for leaving the country are probably political, but her hatred for him has to do with him being a disgusting excuse for a father and how he has hurt her so deliberately. This was just the final straw for her.
Everyone knows if something is political, or not. If you can't tell, then probably best to avoid it.
