I just find it hilarious she clearly doesn’t want to pay. Granted she probably doesn’t have the 200 bajilion she owes but she can clearly pay $250 a month. Hell something tells me her jeans cost more than $250.

she is a disgusting human being.....some of us here think Meghan Markle is not nice but if you read the book about Elizabeth Homes, you know she's evil...plenty of documentation of how she treated people as well as her dishonesty
I know that Holmes is a trash human all around any way you cut it. I'm disgusted with how long she's been able to manage to stay out of prison.
Her husband/bf has mega money. Perhaps he could chip in. Parents are wealthy, too. She has means.
do we know who the victims are and how many? obviously this amount wouldn't make a difference to the investors who put large sums into the company
I agree that the investors are probably just fine, even if it is wrong, that she basically stole their money. The ones I feel the worst for our the people that worked for her, that she mentally tortured, especially if they tried to speak up or leave. I also feel for the people that got incorrect test results, causing them distress.
Her investors lost so much money that it must have led to budget cuts and job losses. What a terrible person EH is. I still don't understand why B. Evans married her.

I feel sorry for his parents, that marriage must have been a painful disappointment for them.
There must be some kind of iron-clad prenup/division of wealth document to keep him from having to be financially responsible for the money she owes. Or all of his money is held in some kind of trust.

I’m sure the money that comes from Evans and his parents is well isolated from her. His parents bought the $900,000 Del Mar condo that Evans and the kids live in now.
As for the restitution she and Sunny jointly owe over $425,000,000 - no clue how that gets divided by the 2 of them. Apparently Rupert Murdoch alone is owed $125,000,000.
As for the $250/month, or 10% of her wages, that is what she will owe after she is released from prison. while she is in prison she has to pay $25 every 3 months. (Ouch!). She can take it out of her hair coloring money! Her hair looks completely fried anyway - she could cut it all off and start over!
Would love to know what kind of financial deal she worked out with her lawyers. She had very pricey lawyers for the civil case and probably also in the criminal case. Can’t believe they are so tone deaf as to claim she can’t pay $250/month upon release. Assuming she and Evans stay together I expect they would be living in a multi-million dollar beach home in or near San Diego. They could pay $250 toward restitution rather than the cable bill or something.
Between living a very comfortable lifestyle in luxury homes and attempting to virtually entirely ignore the restitution she owes, she seems hell-bent on trying to ignore or shrug off any consequences for her actions. (Given the scope and size of her fraud, I am not sure her prison sentence is enough of a consequence, though many may disagree).
