How many different versions of the Edie are there? I'm really confused. I know the Edie 28 is smaller than the 31 and the 42 is the newest and is the biggest, right? I've seen style#57125 (on the 31) AND style#36464 (also on the 31)?? Help

Forgot to post the other day that I have joined this club! Picked up the Western Rivets Edie 31 in fatigue. I really like the Edie form factor and the 31 is the optimal size for me. I was liking a bunch of Edies this season but the Western Rivets caught my eye the most, waited it out almost two months until some stores put it on sale at 30% off this week, which the Coach boutique I went to price matched. I think the color is a great neutral for all seasons and I like the tiger eye color better on this vs. the black. I posted more in another topic, but here is one photo of my new Edie, can't wait to take her out. 
Hello - I'm trying to be more current (most of my bags are from pre-2012) but I'm just not a fan of the swagger or really any of the other "new" styles. I'm trying to be flexible and I was thinking maybe the Edie might work for me. I particularly like the look of the turnlock Edie with the chains. The photos on here are gorgeous. But I've never had a bag with three compartments before. I'm more of a Legacy Duffle or Maggie kind of girl - one big space. How do you organize the compartments? I would think you would put your wallet in the middle, and then when does the phone go? If you put it in one of the sides, how do you know which side its in? I feel like I'd be looking all over the place for it. Any insight?
I love the Edie! I put my wallet & keys in the zip part. I put my cell phone in one of the 2 inside pockets. Usually you can know which side by where the Coach emblem is. I carry a lot of little items in a pouch but any and everything fits in this bag. Lol. I have a small child so I always need extra room for his stuff. Hope that helps.
I don't know if it's like this with every style of Edie, but mine has a slip pocket on the inside of the front side that is big enough for pretty much any cell phone, it is easy to access from there. I would throw keys in the zip pocket on the inside of the back side, and my wallet in the center zip compartment. I would put stuff like hand sanitizer, tissues, gum, earphones in one of the two other compartments.

Hi, the 42 is a BIG bag but it is beautiful! I myself prefer the 31 size but if you like big bags, the 42 would be a good choice. I believe it is about the same size as the first generation embossed Edies if you are familiar with those.
