I like the look of the leather on the YSL but it looks like a Stripper Shoe and an Army Shoe or Doc Martin had a Shoe Baby! They are very interesting

I like the Bal! I just don't know what I would pair them with.

Here are some shoe pics for the bored...

YSL Trooper - still can't figure out if they are strippery, scary or funky fabulous! These are the pebbled leather not the patent but the cam flash made them look tres shiny!

Balenciaga green suede and patent shoes, cannot find a proper name for them on the box!

Actually, these shoes are really easy to walk in! The Trooper's 1.5" platform is very stable and they are comfortable and solid to walk in. The Bals have hidden platforms and the chunkier heel makes them stable as well. I am sure that all of you fabulous ladies would be fine walking in them. My male martial arts teacher even gave the Troopers a thumbs up. His quote - "No one wants a kick in the face with those bad boys".

Both pairs are both lovely and characterful!

Love them (although, I couldn't walk in them, personally! :sweatdrop: )!

Ah, yes, but the last time I wore my ever so comfy and stable platforms with a 4" heel and a 1.5" platform, a few years ago, I totally forgot that the local council prefer to spend our exorbitant council tax on their pension fund, rather than on mending pavements (sidewalks) and ended up in the casualty (ER) department! :push:

See.. now this would be me. I no longer own any heels. As the old back won't tolerate it and WILL bring me to my knees. My FAV shoes are UGGS.. the flat ones, please. They are soft and snuggly, and they don't try to "buck me off".;)
I am truly a creature of comfort, and the older I get, the worse that gets!

OMG Chloe, I hope you didn't do any serious damage. That is an hilariously scary image. Remember the NewYorker cartoons that Saul Steinberg did of all the girls in their tall platforms.

Oh, I'm the same - looooove my uggs (mine are LFA, though, not Ugg brand). :D

No, I don't think I've seen those - I'll have to do a search. :D

I disclocated my kneecap! :wtf:

To be fair, I am prone to that - but I had ops to try to stop it happening, when I was a child and so it popped back in, fortunately! :D

The worst thing was that I was wearing a DVF ruffled miniskirt (if you remember them, from a few years ago?) and I'm pretty sure some guy was trying to look up my skirt as I sat on the pavement in agony!

So, no more heels for me! :nogood:
