EM - how is your dog doing after that wretched snake bite??When I was a kid, a water moccasin bit one of our dogs in the face and it swelled up horribly (balloon head dog). Rushed her to the vet and he saved her. But she always had a huge black "scar" on her muzzle. God rest Zelda 1 (she died many years later). Now we have Zelda II, a rescue who looks exactly like the first Zelda: 100% mutt.

Quite well, MMMSC, thank you for asking. The rattlesnake vaccine surely saved him, as short of some minor swelling, he was good to go. No bleeding, no scarring, no treatment required other than a steroid shot and some antibiotics. We are big fans of that vaccine now.

Today, whilst out bird hunting the female sat in a red ant bed. She's not feeling so perky! My grand-dog (frisbee facelift) who is visiting ATM was bit by fire ants 2 weeks ago. I think we need to MOVE.

Poor Zelda.. the water moccasin is none to laugh at. Deadly, much of the time. It really does matter WHERE they get bit, and the muzzle is the least dangerous place.

Oh that is pretty! I love magnolia - mum arranged some on the table when DH and I got married.

I need to raise some money.
Just been looking at the stuff due in for Chanel cruise and I could be in serious trouble . So tomorrow I will be attempting to find something to sell - again. Hope I get better luck this time around. Darn 30 day rule means it'll have to be Bonz for a couple of weeks.

It's beautiful!

Choo - forgotten this story. Was this the shoe fetish guy?
Nope ... crazy Brit that wanted me to pay his customs charges for him, and when I declined to do so, he refused to pick up his agenda from Parcel Force. The best part were the emails. He sent me email after wordy email about his umbrage, and then threatened to sue me. They're posted on here somewhere - I just don't know how to post the link to the original thread.

I have to hand it to you, Mr Fussy Pants (a PERFECT moniker, BTW) was funny at first, but it would not have taken long for me to have wanted to strangle him.

Been meaning to ask you, Bunny, do you really have rabbits? I once had Balmy and Clod (get it?) a black Angora and white short hair as pets.
I haven't had one recently since Arrow (my albino rex) died... and my current living situation doesn't allow one in the residence... so when I DO get my own place, I will be getting one :) But for now, I settle for helping my rescue group I'm a part of and doing massage on OTHER people's rabbits... but it's extra hard to let go when someone brings in a REX! :(
