Honestly, I have never bought anything from Blue Nile or Costco. I will keep my eyes open for something similar.

I am sick of hoops/studs, too! The last earrings I've bought are drops. Can be worn casual or dressy.
Diamond charm drops...you can switch the charms out. Very versatile!
Mizuki Pearl/Diamond drop...love these. Can be worn dressy/casual!
Yellow/white diamond drops...a little different.

Well these are diamond and a hoop but they are more like a twisted oval shape so from head on you can see the back side of the hoop. These are easy to wear.

These are my go to earrings have for sparkly, Birks brand white gold and diamondThey’re like a teardrop shape, wider at the bottom, so they compliment my narrow face.
Earrings are the jewelry item I rotate the most.

I'm in the neighborhood of thirty pairs. None of them are particularly bold; I am not adventurous when it comes to jewelry. Lots of saltwater pearls and gold, some diamonds, and a few gemstone pieces. Most of it is understated and easy to dress up or down.

Nothing new has been on my radar in quite a while, so I seem to have found earring peace for the moment.

I love wearing diamond earrings. However, I’ve been wearing various type of earrings from, pearls, abstract sliver and, amethyst.

Atm I have 2 holes and only own 2 pairs of studs, which I never take out, platinum DIF XXX studs which I bought 10 years ago and GIA Fancy Light Blue platinum studs.

I almost exclusively wear lever backs because I don’t take my earrings out at night and they are comfortable and secure. These are my current favorite - Pommellato Sabbia in blackened rose gokd and cognac diamond pave. I have other sapphire and diamond and other drops but these have tightest backs and feel most secure and go with everything. Total sparkle bombs!

I never take mine out exceptoccasionally to clean them although both pairs insured although I think the blues under insured, probably both(I’m a qualified gemologist and I would value both at muchmore)

but my premium is about to go up anyway…

Thank you! I really wish Cartier would somehow make the JUC earrings in a regular closed hoop because the post would drive me nuts and the mini ones they have don’t hang as nicely! I feel like most of the designer earrings I see are some form of post which is why these were a find for me; otherwise I’ve had my jeweler make me some custom ones.
