Earrings!!! Other than diamond studs & gold hoops...

I often wear small drops in a fun shape (costume and fine). As for studs, I like Paul Mirelli pearl clusters and the custom earrings I had made to match my pendant.

SkyQueen and jyyanks you absolutely read my thoughts (even ones I didn’t know I had yet!)
Those drops are exactly what I’ve been thinking but couldn’t articulate.
The yellow diamond drops are especially  as I have a thing for yellow diamonds!
Thanks for sharpening my focus.
I will update as the hunt continues....

I have both stud and drop earrings, but no hoops. They range from extremely casual (including a few fun pairs for Christmas, Halloween, etc.) to formal/classic pearl studs and diamond studs.

My favorite pairs are the unique ones I've found at small markets/festivals/boutiques made by local artisans. I want the ball hook earrings from Tiffany's HardWear collection in silver and rose gold.

Wow love those.
Quick question, are the tanzanite “ear specific” meaning there is a correct right and left?
I’m finding a lot of drops have that.

They do have a left & right - though I’m not sure which way is which? they mirror each other which is good so I don’t really have to pay attention because I think either way looks pretty much the same. They’re the only ones I have like that where the design calls for a mirror instead of identical match. I have lots of fun ones too like Swarovski snowflakes for winter:)

This thread made me realize I’ve misplaced my all time favorite pair so I’m off to Hopefully find them!

After a long search I finally located them in my Diorissimo bag I haven’t used since summer! They were in an inside pocket. Also found another pair I’ve been looking for for years - in the pocket of a pc of luggage. They’re both white gold, the hearts are the ones I was looking for. The long teardrops I thought I’d never find again! Thank you for making me look :flowers:

I love earrings and switch mine out everyday so I have a small collection that I rotate through randomly. I mostly wear studs though and have all different kinds from Jennifer Meyer, Tiffany, Ef collection, catbird, Dana Rebecca, zoey chicco, mejuri, ariel gordon, and aurate. My favorite earrings are ones that are fun like fashion jewelry but made from real gold. I guess this would be the fashion fine jewelry category? I rarely wear my expensive diamond studs and gave away my pearl studs! I also rarely wear drop earrings because they seem too dressy, but if I do it’s usually things like mejuri threaders or earrings that I made myself. I only do very thin large gold hoops or tiny diamond huggie hoops, everything else looks odd on me. If you are looking for drop earrings with stones, I’d recommend Kiki McDonough. She makes the citrine drops that kate Middleton used to wear all the time and also interchangeable drops that you can add to huggies.

Happy New Year tPF Fam!
I have researched our threads and have not found much on different earring styles. Seems as if most ppl wear diamond studs, pearl studs or hoops of some kind.
I have all those and am now contemplating a drop earring for everyday or at least days I’m dressed properly.
My question is....what do your earring wardrobes look like? How many pairs do you have and how many do you actually wear?!
I examined my own earring collection and found it pretty light...I shied away from anything other than studs for a long time because I wear glasses and thought it was too much going on. Now I’m at peace with the glasses.
PS-I am looking at non-designer pieces
TIA
Do you like any of theseView attachment 4630262View attachment 4630263View attachment 4630264View attachment 4630265mmexport1578141238617.jpg

On of my favorite pairs of earrings that aren't studs or hoops are these branch earrings. Excuse the price tag. I posted this pic in the TJ Maxx finds thread. I paid $449 for these at the time. These are Ippolita, but you could probably find a similar non-designer equivalent. After all, they're branches.
