Happy New Year tPF Fam!
I have researched our threads and have not found much on different earring styles. Seems as if most ppl wear diamond studs, pearl studs or hoops of some kind.
I have all those and am now contemplating a drop earring for everyday or at least days I’m dressed properly.
My question is....what do your earring wardrobes look like? How many pairs do you have and how many do you actually wear?!
I examined my own earring collection and found it pretty light...I shied away from anything other than studs for a long time because I wear glasses and thought it was too much going on. Now I’m at peace with the glasses.
PS-I am looking at non-designer pieces

Most of my earrings are studs- with a few dangles and hoops. I am hoping to add more dangles to my collection- they are my favorite!

I find that I buy earrings the least. I also wear glasses and have a ton of hair- so they are often covered. When I do buy studs I like to buy pairs with as much ear coverage as possible. I need to add more colored stones to my collection as they are very limited in my earring wardrobe.

Agreed re colored stones....that’s definitely something I’m thinking about
Oh....forgot to mention, the antique ones I showed in a previous post I’m still considering but they r pricey $$ so may not be possible...

I have a number of pairs of drop earrings. I took some photos, but they’re very dark. Also, all the earrings need a good clean.
The top ones are 14K YG with peridot, blue topaz, amethyst and citrine.
The next pair are sterling silver and YG:

The last ones are sterling silver diamond shaped drops. I’ve had all this jewellery for years, and I haven’t cleaned my silver and the jewellery I don’t wear as much in ages. Sorry about that.

I’m not sure your price range but the Peretti Fringe Mesh were “less expensive” for Tiffany - around $750 was what I paid last year. They are 18k gold.
