DVF for Target

I received the bedding -- the sheet set & comforter/sham
I love the colors and patterns and the fact that they're 100% cotton
The fitted sheet is designed with extra elastic so the sheet stays put
What I don't like -- the flat sheet is one sided :confused1:
One side has the pretty blue & green pattern, while the other side is is just white. And not white like a plain white sheet. White like the backside of a colored sheet. Why? What is the purpose of that? I would expect that of a Target brand, but not a designer for Target (especially DVF)

I don't plan on returning it --they're definitely a higher quality sheet & worth the price. I just don't understand the logic of the design

I ended up with (surprise, surprise) the pink geo jumpsuit and the green geo wrap dress. I know it's pricier for target (duh, designer collection) but the wrap dress print is really lovely and I adore the length. My DVF wraps are knee length for me. The jumpsuit hits just right for me. I have a short torso and found that most jumpsuits are too long for me. This is like pajama comfy for me. Now I've got two jumpsuits, both from a target collection (Lilly Pulitzer and DVF)

Good to know about the sheets @iluvmybags. I have yet to open mine but I know I'm gonna keep em regardless. I got the duvet cover and plan on donating sheets and things before I deep clean the cabinets, wash the new ones, and put them away. It's still a little too chilly to completely eschew my warm n' toasty flannel sheets this season!

Oh I got the green twig throw too. I have a knit one from the Marimekko collection (do we see a pattern here?) but I love the DVF twig one. It feels luxe and looks nice, feels good too.

I was a little disappointed with the color of the throw. The color seems more muted than the green in the sheets, towels & dresses. Its a decent throw for the price, but I still have all my Missoni throws & I think I got spoiled!

I'm also surprised there's no bath towels. They have wash cloths, hand towels & shower curtains but no bath towels (or throw rugs for that matter) :confused1:

I know! So much decor and they really could have done some wild stuff. I love my Marimekko rug from target. I have my Lilly Pulitzer beach towels too.

I probably would have passed, I like to remain not emotionally attached to my bath towels  I bought Ikea bath sheets a few years ago and they're a game changer. Soft, too. And big! I wasn't heartbroken when I got a little bleach on one of them when I was doing my own hair.

I received the long sleeve B&W dress and the sleeveless light blue dress today
The coral sleveless dress and wrap top will arrive tomorrow

The B&W long sleeve dress is a lot like the DFV dresses I've always liked -- soft, silky cotton/lyocell combination
The light blue sleeveless dress is stretchy sweater like material (viscose/polyester blend)
The wrap of the sleeveless dress is higher which I like because I'm short and short waisted. The wrap of the L/S dress hits more at my natural waist. As of now, I'm definitely going to keep the l/s dress. On the fence about the blue one. I'll probably keep either this one or the coral one that comes tomorrow (same style/material/diff color)

You will need to forgive me -- its been a loonnnnggggg time since I've shared pics of myself
Due to health issues, I've gained a lot of weight & I'm not as confident as I once was
But I think we're "old friends" here and I know how helpful it can be for others to see, so here it goes . . .
These look great on you!

Thanks!
I actually returned the sleeveless blue dress & the same one in coral. I found the long sleeve green one & bought that & I like that material & style much better than the sleeveless dresses. Target only allows 14 days to return this line so I decided to return them rather than keep them & never wear them or change my mind later. If the line gets marked down & I find it on sale, maybe I’ll pick one up again.

I saw the pillows last weekend which I had liked & wanted to complete my bedding but was disappointed to discover they’re velour. I hate velour - so hard to keep clean & hairless!

The green sleeved dress is really fantastic, good call on being realistic with your purchases!

I know that feeling about fabric. I liked the indoor/outdoor material on the Marimekko collection and actually use them as pillows to prop myself up in bed. I actually picked up a few adorable Pillowfort pillows in the last couple years to expand some colors in my room and they've held up well.

I've been carrying the little adjustable crossbody bag everywhere. Didn't think I would get a bag but I can tell it's going to be in heavy rotation!

Most of the collection has been marked down 15% (they're calling it clearance :confused1:)
I say MOST because none of the wrap dresses are marked down
I'm going to watch and see how fast/low this collection gets marked down. I'd love one of those benches to put at the foot of my bed, but I'm not willing to pay more than $500 (after sales tax) for it. Thats how I wound up with 2 of the Missoni poofs -- they got marked down like 75% and I grabbed 2 of them. I might also grab a spare set of sheets if they're still available at a 40-50% markdown
