3 of my items are scheduled to be delivered today & the other tomorrow! That was fast!

Seeing @ColdSteel ’s descriptions of everything makes me want to head over to Target later today! I have 2 stores equal distance from my house! This really takes me back years!

Okay! Back from an exciting trip to Target. There were some items still in stock, mostly numbered size dresses and the outerwear. Thought the sleeveless wind thing with a hood was cute but… I need sleeves. The apron was also cute but also on the thinner side. I have a Hedley and Bennett apron that serves me very well and puts up with my spirited cooking.

I picked the two things I wanted to try on that I couldn’t ship or buy online pick up in store. Oh and the pouch set and a crossbody for Miss “I sure don’t need more pouches in my life!”

I am about 5’ 7” and change and wearing a Medium in the gingko dress and a 10 in the mini. The sweater material feels very nice and the right kind of weight. Not too thin, not too heavy. Hit about midi on me.

I tried both an 8 and a 10 in the mini dress but the 10 was the better fit—I’d say these ran true to size. It feels more like crepe in the hands than a prickly poly.

The jumpsuits and wrap dresses felt like slightly heavier target jersey wrap dress/dress fare, but I have my own little curated collection of those.

These definitely feel like good Target Designer items!!

I received the long sleeve B&W dress and the sleeveless light blue dress today
The coral sleveless dress and wrap top will arrive tomorrow

The B&W long sleeve dress is a lot like the DFV dresses I've always liked -- soft, silky cotton/lyocell combination
The light blue sleeveless dress is stretchy sweater like material (viscose/polyester blend)
The wrap of the sleeveless dress is higher which I like because I'm short and short waisted. The wrap of the L/S dress hits more at my natural waist. As of now, I'm definitely going to keep the l/s dress. On the fence about the blue one. I'll probably keep either this one or the coral one that comes tomorrow (same style/material/diff color)

You will need to forgive me -- its been a loonnnnggggg time since I've shared pics of myself
Due to health issues, I've gained a lot of weight & I'm not as confident as I once was
But I think we're "old friends" here and I know how helpful it can be for others to see, so here it goes . . .

That yellow dress looks so good on you!!
The coral looks great too
I don't know how ya'll have so much confidence to wear wrap dresses with nothing underneath
I've never been able to do it -- always have to wear a tank or half bra & keep the girls well tucked!

If I'm in a work or otherwise professional setting I usually do! They usually stay in a pretty SFW position but after a little moving around we're a little more after hours

I just tried on the sweater knit pants and they're a definite keeper. I liked the top they were styled with but I feel like I wouldn't get as much wear out of the top as I would the pants. Sure, it's a set, but I try to be a little more thoughtful about things in the old wardrobe these days. Your picks look beautiful! The patterns are really pretty and that blue is gorgeous.

I got to take a peek at the sheets/duvet stuff in store and I know I'll like it. I usually buy my sheets at Target anyway!

The bigger bags looked nice, I'm actually super happy with the crossbody one. Great size, lightweight.

Didn’t grab too many pics but I did take one of the apron for the curious.

Caved and ordered the green knit top to go with the pants. Would look nice over some smooth-fronted pants or leggings, for that matter. or as a lighter weight layer for a dress! Would totally also work layered over a tee. Also got the geo arrow dress, M was out of stock so L it is. I do love my wrap dresses, I talked myself into this one for its composition and washability. I do most of my DVF in gentle cycle, dry flat anyway but maybe something I'm a little less protective of.

The top should show up in my pickup order along with a ton of Peeps that I am most assuredly not going to obsessively save until Easter and then devour, no ma'am  . Dress should be getting here tomorrow per the order screen.

I like the geo jumpsuit but it doesn't look the easiest to take off. I prefer the material that the Lilly Pulitzer x Target one is made of anway.

Ah, Peeps, Spindrift seltzer, and Target designer collabs... that's what the Easter bunny brought me this year!

Took almost 10 yrs but it happened!!

I like the collections, just don't have the patience for the madness. I still think the best was Missoni, in terms of quality. From this collection, I wanted houseware items. My mother stumbled upon a few things this morning and got those for me.

I keep crossing my fingers hoping for a DVF collaboration, but at the same time I think 'nah, because THAT would be total madness x 10' lol

Ahhh DVF would be nice  Idk in what capacity they would collab, DVF for H&M or DVF for Target. It would still be interesting. I can imagine the wrap dresses, shoes, accessories, and housewares.

Next on my list… a floor length mirror.

I am loving the wrap sweater top. Got a size M. The slight bell in the sleeve, the barely asymmetric hem. Reminds me of something my grandmother would have worn in the best way possible.
you look great!
I ordered this one and the B&W one
Ordered 2 sizes to make sure I got the one that fit best!
I have a feeling these are the pieces I'm going to get the most wear from

Can I ask -- are these long enough to wear with leggings? Thats how I thought I'd wear them

Thank you and @cecchetti and @A bottle of Red !

Definitely long enough, I think! I have a short torso/short waist and I have a couple inches of tunic at the back. I will definitely be pairing mine with leggings too. I swear I'm allergic to sweatpants but miss that warmth and these are perfect for that early spring "nice day" to "chill evening" weather.
