Dumb question about LV

Okay, this is going to sound like a dumb question to many of you who are LV experts, but I just have to ask...

I just saw a Popincourt Haut on ebay that said on the inside:

made in U.S.A.

Are some LV bags made in the United States? It just doesn't seem right to me. I like the idea of it being made in Paris much better. :shame:

Both my LV came from Saks. The Speedy says made in USA, the Popincourt Haut says made in France.

My mom bought a Popincout Haut from the LV store in San Diego...and her's say made in USA, hope this helps!

I was just thinking about this! My Speedy 25 was made in the USA, too. (Just bought it about two weeks ago from the LV boutique at South Coast Plaza.) My husband and I were wondering if this was a recent thing, but I guess it isn't.

Both my bags are made in the U.S. Actually, when I was buying my speedy, I followed the advice of a member here and asked the SA if any of the speedies were made in France. She told me no -- they were all from the U.S. I don't know if she was telling me the truth or was trying to get me out of there quick since it was closing time.

the bag are made in the U.S.A but you can get them to be made in the FRANCE
