I am 5’3”, and have the empriente version with the chain strap. It’s a very nice drop length, so I think it’d be good for 5’1”. It’s not long at all.

I was so excited to use the PDZ with my strap that I took the chain off on arrival and haven't even tried sorry! I'm 5'7" so not much help there either. Oh! The middle compartment was super handy as a place to put my mask (we had two weeks of mask wearing where I am) when I'm eating etc.

actually it’s the easy access middle compartment that sold me on the empreinte double zip instead of the felicie because I’m really lazy when it comes to closing my bags. Plus it costs less.

For those with chain for the dzp, is there a way to shorten it? I know with the felicie, you can insert the clasp through the d rings and attach both clasp to only one d-ring. Is this trick possible with DZP? Or any other possible hack? Attaching a photo for reference. TIA.
This is the only way I’ve been able to shorten the existing strap without adding extra pieces. The clasp is too large to fit through the D ring like on the felicie. Basically just attach like you normally would, then clip the chain where you want it shortened to. It leaves the excess hanging down where you can feed it down into the middle slip compartment to hide it. Flap bags are definitely easier to shorten. You can also clip a double sided clasp to one side and clip both sides of the chain to the other (similar to how people shorten the strap on the Gucci super mini).

Beautiful setup! I see you have the MPA as well. Have you ever put your MPA strap on your DZP? I’ve been thinking of buying just that strap, and was curious how it looked. Is the hardware on the MPA strap too bulky Looking, or does it look ok?
