she did a follow up video of the bag she got, and it's the flo in charcoal color. another color i've not come across, and that is really nice too.

I would have gotten 2 at that price LOL. I must say the mini opening, for its size, is great. I can see everything And I don’t have to play Tetris. It’s crazy to me that the small flo satchels and satchel 38 openings are tiny compared to their sizes. I hope that makes sense. Since the mini is not for iPad use, there’s no maneuvering anything. the mini is a really awesome daily carry….

The mini holds my small zip around wallet(deluxe mo) in ivy, coach skinny case, change purse, cheaters, tissue, small wristlet pouch, ear pods, card case, small flo coin case, hand sanitizer, lotion, pencil case, pill case and pocket cannon, and my iPhone 12 Pro Max and I STILL have room for more.

that micro opening was tiny. It’s more north south than the mini. I really wanted the micro when I first went to the store and I could kick myself for not looking at the mini then…

I found out today after 2 weeks of carrying, the small Sloan does not work for me. I stopped at Walgreens and had Sloan on the counter, was semi playing Tetris trying to pay… I don’t like holding up the line because I can’t find my change purse/wallet… I have learned today that North south style bags do not work for me unless the opening is big, like coach duffle sac or Dooney camden/field hobo or drumroll please THE TILTON…. LOVE THE TILTON MOTHER OF ALL UNICORNS….

I emptied ms Sloan immediately when I got home and reached for my ivy mini. No rain or snow in the forecast this week so I feel good carrying her

Sorry your small Sloan didn't work out for you. There is nothing like real life to test
a handbag. 😮 Just putting your things in and out at home isn't the same as standing
up, with a coat on, and a line of people behind you.

I also prefer E/W bags over
the N/S ones. Things tend to get lost in tall bags. And Tetris isn't a fun game
when it comes to handbag organization. That's one of the reasons I seem to have
moved into larger bags now.... I just can't put up with taking items out to make
everything fit again after pulling out 1 items.

Some of the Dooney bags, even larger ones are N/S. If they have a large
opening, and you can see everything inside, they seem to be manageable.
But, some are tulip shaped, so the bottom is smaller than the top.
If you have to stack your items on top of each other to use the N/S space,
or if it's a tight fit..... these bags can be a challenge too.
The Flo Tulip shopper and many of the Dooney totes are smaller on the bottom
than on the top.

The smaller flo domed crossbody and small flo dwawstring are catching my eye. L.J how do you like your large domed satchels from that great October sale? I haven't used the new large domed Flo satchels enough yet. I have that same style
in pebbled leather and I love it. But the handles on the Flo version are thinner and softer.
Don't know if that will be an issued.
Dooney does so many different domed satchels (all with very similar names) and in general
they are all good for me.... as long as I get one big enough. The smaller ones might
fit my stuff, but I don't want to have to deal with handbag Tetris.

I have many Dooney D/S. I like the function of all that are large enough.
I have one small D/S and again, while my stuff fits, it's annoying to reposition
the items to get them to fit whenever I take something out. I won't buy another
small D/S. Since I hand carry, the length of the D/S strap and the bulk of the
base of the bag aren't really 'issues'. I have to just fold the strap over so I can hand
carry if the strap is too long. I just pretend I'm posing for a handbag ad.

I love the shape of the domed satchel. When I saw this video and that bordeaux smaller satchel it immediately went on my wish list. The size the shape the color hit EACH AND EVERY box for me.
skip to 19 min for the Bordeaux satchel. Everything she got was great. I love to see what people get in their hauls.

I had the Flo edged satchel a few years ago, not the micro.
It didn't hold up well. Don't know if they changed the materials/construction.
But I found the white edging stuck to the leather of the bag when the handles
fell down during storage. Result.... a mess.

You have no idea. Can you imagine willingly going to maximum security prison for 25 years? My goodness the stories I have for my grand nephews… I’ve done time in the BIG HOUSE. I wouldn’t suggest anyone go there, it’s not fun.

I am happy to be able to retire young, and still enjoy traveling, seeing the many beautiful places in the US and abroad. There’s supposed to be a meteor shower this week and I look forward to seeing that.

I have to share this gorgeous pre-loved find! I’ve been searching for this Flo Zip Sac. I absolutely love the look of it. This bag comes in either hobo or crossbody strap. I’d suggest the crossbody, because the strap is thick. She’s a big gal, and fits a lot. The front pockets are good sized to hold my AirPods, keys, chapstick. Overall, I’m very happy with this bag. She’s smooth, there is some pebbling on the bottom. I put some leather CPR on ‘er.

The strap is thicker. It’s in 3 parts. 2 parts are attached to the loops on the bag, and the 3rd part is in the middle and removable.

Dooney should really bring back this style.

I know we’ve talked about this here - but I really like that the logo is on the back and subtle. In some earlier posts, I said the logo didn’t bother me, but lately, I’m just not feeling the large gold logo.

Love all the outside pockets!
