My goodness the sales before Black Friday are indeed getting us to buy more. Who could resist Florentine coin cases, card cases, kiss locks, wristlets, and double zip wristlets @ $25-$55… at those prices you couldn’t get just one. dooney was practically giving Florentine leather away…
And down the rabbit hole we all go. And in such good company....
all our lovely Florentine SLGs and our supportive forum friends. 😁
Happy Thanksgiving.

I was at the Dooney Outlet and took a picture of this large zip around credit card case to share. I couldn’t quite grasp the description on ILD site. This is a very small wallet, there’s nothing large about it. The inside zipper pocket is very tiny, I could barely fit my finger inside.

Hope this helps.

P.S. Mr. Dooney & co, I’m available for hire, and can update your site listings. 😆

I liked the size but I didn’t like that it didn’t open fully. Was that the medium zip around wallet or the large card case? Ok don’t answer that last ? Reading is fundamental… They both looked the same to me. I liked the small zip around wallet which we both got because it opened fully, not just half cracked oped

The design on the credit card cases/aka zip wallets that don't open all the way
are a problem for many reasons. Most importantly, you can't fit that many
credit cards inside since the flaps that keep it from opening completely get
in the way. I have a few of this design from the early days, and it's not
very useful, given it's size and weight. I guess if you only want to carry
a few credit cards and some folded money it's ok. But that doesn't meet
my needs.

When comparing accessories online it's important to look at all the dimensions.
Sometimes what separates the sizes is an inch or less in one of more of the
measurements. And we know that Dooney uses the terms large and small
to show relative size within a given style. Many small bags (like the small
Flo satchel or small Lexington) are really nice sized medium handbags.

No thank you on folded money. I prefer to keep my bills flat where I don’t have to take all my bills out and unfold to count and pay for something . I count it in my coach skinny case without folk really knowing how much cash I have. Looks like it would hold as many cards as a lil.card case And it looks awkward to even put bills in it. I love the look of it especially with the red zipper tape. I did give my mom the black concord card case that I got at the Labor Day sale and she was tickled. I keep my id, F.O.I.D card, conceal and carry license and my dad’s card with his pictur, he passed 20apr23. Sigh my little gas gard is in the center part.

I like to keep my cash flat and organized too. And I keep my credit cards in a separate
case apart from my wallet which also has misc. info cards, like AAA.
Sorry about your Dad. Keep the good memories.
