She traveled all the way from Italy and was waiting on my doorstep for me this afternoon. :smile: The confirmation email I received from D&G said the bag would be sent with signature confirmation, but that didn’t happen. Thank goodness I have honest neighbors!

These pictures do NOT do this bag justice. At all. I literally gasped out loud when I took it out of the dust bag. This bag will be the most beautiful bag in my collection. I cannot wait to wear her.

I have a little something coming from Italy also. I have been swayed by this thread. I should receive it early next week.

What did you get???

I do love the dust bag! It put an instant smile on my face when I saw it. I’ve included some pictures of the interior. It was a little difficult to hold the bag open and snap at the same time, so it’s not the best. But, hopefully, they are helpful. There is one back zip pocket, a front pocket, and a very small compact mirror pocket. It is quite spacious in there. I can fit a full wallet in there with plenty of room to spare.

One thing that did disappoint me is I expected a compact mirror to be included. I thought all Miss Sicily bags came with one, but I did not receive one. I checked the product listing and it doesn’t look like a mirror comes with this bag. A slight disappointment, but I’m happy nonetheless.

I do however think that the printed Sicilys are slightly overpriced. I got mine for 40% off from net-a-porter last summer and I do know that they quite often go on sale, so I'd suggest waiting for the summer sales to get yours. The majolica printed ones this season are gorgeous!

I'm surprised D&G isn't on the forum list under premier or contemporary. I always thought they were a premier designer. Is it because they're fairly new that they're not on the list? This thread has made me fall in love with the Miss Sicily bag. I'm on ban island, but this is making me want to come back.

Beautiful pieces! By some hideous stroke of luck, the bag I wanted went out of stock the day before the sale started!

That blue one with roses on is stunning, though - could be tempted...

I did get some shoes (playing card sandals) which are lovely and so comfortable.

I've been wanting the Sicily bag (in leopard) for a long time. I always looked at it, but never purchased. Then I saw Duchess Kate with her gorgeous Sicily at Wimbledon and of course that was the push to get me to purchase! haha. I wish there were more threads on this bag.

This is my dolce and gabbana mini Sicily (I think, posted on authentication forum, so fingers crossed). I love it. It is small but fits a card holder, small iPod with earphones, compact mirror, lipstick and my keys, probably a lip gloss as well. Though I'd probably leave out the mirror and lipstick when pos.

So basically, put your phone in a pocket instead.

It's light and the strap is adjustable. Only downside is I (5ft 1) can't seem to get the strap quite to a length i really like. Maybe it's just because it is a small bag and im not used to it yet though.

I think it is worth the price (around 1 thousand) new if you usually travel light. But I would say yo try get it in the sale if pos.1535712660536984403600.jpg
