Does your Louis Vuitton dust bag says 'Made In India'?

I randomly looked at the tag inside the dust bag. It says:

100% Cotton
Made in India

That's strange... I never knew LV would associate with India? And no my LV is not a replica and I bought my LV item at the real boutique.
Thank you for your comment here! I know it was years ago but I have a LV dust bag and was concerned it wasn't authentic from the tag saying made in India. So I just wanted to let you know your comment here is still much appreciated years later!!

I ran across this post while searching for fake LV dust bag...ladies do you think this one is fake? I got this really authentic-looking purse charm on ebay...then as I was looking at the dust bag...i realized the dust bag inside tag looks VERY different than all the other authentic LV dust bags that I have...argh...I hope my first purchase on ebay is not a fake one....>_< anyone know if this dust bag is for sure fake? I'm starting to think more and more so...coz even the FONT is bad...i dont think I ever since any LV things have a Times Roman font!!!! Argh....??!!!

I just bought a pre-loved bag that came with its dust bag and it only says 100% cotton too - there is no made in at all. It looks just like yours in the photo. I am not sure what to think of it, but a poster on the previous page did say that the bag she purchased at the LV store in Madrid only had the 100% cotton label too, with no made in info - which does make me feel a bit better. Would love to hear if anyone else has seen this or know anything about it.

I think the real problem for me is that the dustbag I received (with the preloved 2013 speedy azur) doesn't have any tag at all. The bag looks authentic but the dustbag not. I have another dustbag that has the 100% cotton made in india tag. The question is, if an LV dustbag doesn't have the tag, is it a fake dustbag? Thanks guys.

I just bought a Louis Vuitton sleeper on eBay. I have over 20 LV bags bought from the store. This bag (on top in the photo) looks like a burlap bag. I believe it's fake. All on my sleepers are very uniform in the spacing of the lettering and the quality of the fabric. The second picture is my sleeper from a bag purchase in an LV store. The last picture is the Ebay sleeper. I'm wondering, why in the world would a luxury company put their bags in a burlap sack?

My 1 slg dust bag too say's the same thing & i got it frm the LV boutique Store in (Singapore) damn it why can't LV make their DustBag's in italy or spain or turkey or france or usa lol .

PEOPLE: Dustbag is not an indication of authenticity. Only the product itself. Like the boxes and shopping bags & ribbons, dustbags can be commissioned to any factories in the world like in India, Vietnam, China, etc... It doesn't and shouldn't matter where it's made as long as you have one to protect your bag from dust.

Agree but maybe some people might be like: I'm buying a pre-loved bag from the seller who stated he bought this piece is in LV store, it comes with everything like box, dust bag etc. bag itself seems authentic and then you see that dustbag seems fake so you started to question if the bag was really authentic. I'm just thinking out loud

Then... they should buy new! ;)
