I think this bag is really great. I like structured bags as well as soft smooshy ones. The front pouch pocket on these looks very useful. I also like the two tone color combinations. I saw the pic of Gwyneth carrying it. It looks great on her.

Although I'm a fan of the moto bags, I enjoy seeing some other Bals get time in the spotlight too. Thanks for starting this thread!

I have seen a couple of bags in this grouping at NM and they are sooooo heavy!! Definitely not my cup of tea either as they are too structured, too "old" and way too heavy! (Oh, and I am old but I think they are too old for me).

I have always loved the style of this bag, but I really wanted it in a color that "popped" (e.g., Violet perhaps?!?!). However, when I first saw this style (in a Balenciaga Look Book), the S/A told me that she felt the hardware (the front clasp) was a real P-I-T-A and for her, that made the bag less valuable.

Once I saw the bag "in person", I had to agree that the front clasp is kind of a pain, but I still like the style. LOVE :heart: the Yellow version!!

Speaking of which, has ANYONE HEARD WHEN THE FLUORESCENT YELLOW is going to appear on the shelves?!?!?

i have it in violet/black and love it...
i find it holds alot and i like that it keeps its shape...
the violet isn't as bright as the moto bag version (more of an eggplant), but that's fine with me...

I agree w/ most posts. I generally like the funkiness of Balenciaga bags, and this one lacks that. But, it is quite classic.

KimAir: would LOVE to see the violet / black one! sounds gorgeous.

My mom just bought the moon bag in the satchel version, it's yellow and beautiful...but I was wondering whether or not it comes with a long shoulder strap because it has the handles for it on the sides but there was no strap in the bag. Wondering if there should be one so she can take it back and get it. Thanks in advance!

It's actually not that one..here are some pics I wouldv'e posted the in the original msg but I can't find my digital camera cord but then I realized I could just take the pics with photobooth..i love macs
