Hell yes, just another marketing strategy IMO. I love the brand but it's rather low for them to play this hard to get game. Guess its business after all.

Same!I hate appointment system because I feel pressured! Feels bad if I don't purchase anything and wasted SA's time
I just want to browse and window shop sometimes ya know!![]()
Well, in the US, the different states and sometimes cities have different guidelines for reopening. It's not necessarily up to the retailer. Situations are also different in different countries. My store is back to permitting walk-ins. I can't imagine some stores would remain appointment-only where others would not.
Of course, I meant more with regard to the long-term approach and some people hoping that the appointment system might stay permanently.Well, in the US, the different states and sometimes cities have different guidelines for reopening. But, hasn't it always been possible to make an appointment with your SA? If you want one on one time, guidance, specific discussions, or just to save your SA from people who aren't funOf course, I meant more with regard to the long-term approach and some people hoping that the appointment system might stay permanently.
Haha - Yes, it's always been possible to make an appointment. I like popping in now and then, though, to chat and browse - if my SA is busy i don't mind ogling pretty things! Also I'm near NYC and the boutiques all have different vibes, which I like, and I notice different things each time I go. Someone new to the brand might be really hesitant to make an appointment. But, hasn't it always been possible to make an appointment with your SA? It would be a retail killer for almost any brand to remove the new and/or entry level customer; H COULD survive as an exception, maybe, but that would be kind of sad, and antithetical to things like having makeup and fragrances in boutique. I love that people can come in and discover craftsmanship.
For those who want private shopping during normal hours with no one else in store, well, they have to do the numbers![]()
