Does Balenciaga Sell Replacement Mirrors?

Hi all,

Well I bought a bag from a seller and it is new and all with tags still attached, the bag was bought from Balenciaga NY and I got it this week, but the Mirror has some deep scratches on it.

Do I just call Balenciaga NY and see if they will replace it?

OR Do I have to buy it?

Please advice.

Ask for Rio at BalNY =) It is about $90-$100

Hi - I just ordered one from Bal NY from Kim for my Sapin City - it's $95 and takes about 4 months to get - although for a black one it might be quicker as it's a current color.

Yeah Kim said no problem getting the Sapin which is an 06 color but it certainly takes a long time - 4 months!! I know $5.50 for tassles but $95 for a little mirror.

Just a thought, could you just go to a local glass shop and have them cut you a round mirror (if its just the mirror missing and not the leather holder)? Its probably less than $5 and you could support the little guy and have a new mirror the same day.

I believe you can order one from BalNY - I seem to recall the price being around $90. I don't know if they can do it for older bags or not though . . .

For the ladies that have bought pre-loved bags (consignment/*bay, etc.), how did you provide proof of purchase to BalNY to get them to order the replacement mirror?

I called Rio and he went ahead and placed the order but I still need to get him the documentation regarding the purchase, otherwise I have to send them the bag to get it authenticated (which I really don't want to do. It's authentic, I just don't want the hassle of sending it to NY).

Did any of you ladies have this come up? Any help would be appreciated! TIA!
