Does anyone own a Kelly Sellier with togo?

omg wait. I was here when you revealed that. such a lovely bag. lucky the new owner
is there a specific reason why you let yours go?

The Togo sellier 32 was my first SO, back when I didn't have way too much experience with Kellys and thought (brace yourself) this would be my one and only Kelly  :P:giggle: , so I ordered a 32 to be useful and fit more stuff, and a sellier because it was the most classic.
The bag was (and is) AMAZING (rouge H interior, brushed palladium) and I LOVED it, but I'm really petite. It only worked for me when I wore heels and kind of structured outfits. So when I was able to order a 28, I passed the 32 on to a lovely tPF friend who's taller than me.

All about size, nothing to do with Togo sellier which to be honest I think is just about as good an option as chèvre. It doesn't have the chèvre sheen (that could be a plus or minus depending); no spine, but veins (very personal choice); and IMO Togo is more scratch-resistant.
I would totally order another Togo sellier if available and the colors were right and if I were not wanting a retourné this year.

For those who have been lucky enough to SO a Kelly sellier in togo leather, how have your bags held up? Any slouching? Do the sangles dangle straight down?
I received my k25 togo sellier aug 2020. It took 27.5 months to arrive after I placed the order. I haven’t had any issues with the bag getting slouchy - it has retained its shape. The sangles droop down when I leave them hanging and it’s been the same since I received the bag. The sangles on my Epsom and chèvre k25 selliers are stiffer.

This probably belongs in the ‘unpopular opinions thread’ but I don’t like Togo for a sellier. I prefer leathers to follow their own tendencies ie retourner Togo has a lovely natural slouch. Like wise I would not want an Epsom in retourner - it suits more structured styles.

For many who dislike Epsom bags, a sellier Togo seems a very good option. I would prefer Togo for a sellier.
