Does anyone here like the Madison Cafe Carryall?

Well that is frustrating! They are the same collection, you would think the shades would be the same. Since you mentioned the Hippie, can I ask- how does it look with items in it? I love it, but afraid of how it would look on with items in it to look bulky.

The color is so very close. I may be the only one that notices it! And since leather is a natural material, I am sure the dyes take differently depending on porosity of the leather and others factors. I am 99.9% sure this bag is a keeper! I love it.

This bag wasn't really on my radar until I saw the model carrying it satchel style on the website and I just loved it. I prefer bags with some structure, I can't handle slouchy, and when holding it it looks structured. Would you say this is accurate? I don't think I've seen any reveals of this or any mod shots. I'd love to see what it looks like on but I'll take a first hand account too!

I'd agree 100% with this. It's not a 'young' bag at all. Very formal and not in the dressy sense, though it is a dressy bag. IMO, it's a bag that suits someone with a mature sense of style.

I finally got mine yesterday in Tan and I love it. It holds a ton, including my iPad2. It almost like a Phoebe and a Madeline got together and had a baby. I don't think of myself as mature although I guess I am, but I don't think it's an "old lady" bag by any stretch.

Definitely not Old Lady! Love it in the color you got! I just guess Phoebe just fits my lifestyle and what u wear more! It is a pretty bag though! Enjoy!

Thank you! I do love my Phoebes as well--and my Madelines, so maybe that is why I like this one too?! It always depends on how I'm feeling on a particular day if I feel like slouchy or structured.

I actually did not care for this style when I first saw the DD pic, but it grew on me. I really love it now. I like the way the compartments are done with the zipper closure in the back, zipper in the middle and the snap in the front. It makes it different than your typical carryall.

That is the beauty of this bag. It definitely has some structure to it, without losing any of the softness of the leather. It think it is very rich looking.

Thank you! I almost got the teal gathered at the outlet, but got the glitter small Sadie instead because I have DP Phoebe and black gathered, and I'm obviously a sucker for anything in the tan/camel range.
