Does anyone have the LARGE AND SMALL DAKOTAH to post size comparison pic?

I don't live close to a store to try on small first so I have to figure this out based on opinions and dimensions. Dimensions alone make me nervous! That is why I need all of your help . Here's a pic of my wallet next to a Kleenex box for size comparison. This wallet HAS to fit with room to spare

Wallet is .5 smaller than Kleenex box which is 8 3/4. My wallet can fit lengthwise in a Willis or Annabelle if that helps!

I know it was stupid to cut tags off. Had no intention of this happening . But this is too much money not to be satisfied! But if they tell me no or I'm going to loose my 40%, I will have to deal!

^I actually think it looks good on you, but I can't see the buckling clearly. I have no issue with the messenger shape, but that's personal preference. I think for me, I no longer carry enough to fill it up, so it really buckled, and I don't like fastening the snap hooey inside, so with the small size it was perfect and I didn't have to do that. It didn't buckle at all.

I've always used t-shirts or packing paper to fill a large bag because I've rarely carried enough to fill them, or a purse organizer, but it's nice not to have to do that. I think you've made your decision. If the wallet doesn't work then maybe consider going with a smaller size since that is easier to change. If you need a large wallet you could use a smaller wallet plus wristlet. I actually think you'll be ok, though, because my problem was I carried a huge bag today with a bulky large cosmetic case, and I wouldn't normally carry that in a small bag. I had a large wallet but used a capacity size wristlet older style that was the equiv size of a medium wallet when I tried the Dakotah, so that's why it was tight for me.

Why don't you call a collection store and ask the SA if they will put a large wallet plus anything else in the bag and send a photo? I've done that before and they were happy to help.

The weight honestly doesn't bother me on any of them, and that's never been my issue, but I do like that the small ones are easy to carry around and not get bumped in crowds, and it was getting to the point people joked I needed a wheelbarrow to carry my bags! Or they were carrying me instead of the other way around! I would say the weight I did notice more on the fringe, but that's expected.

I guess you have to ask yourself if you could be comfortable with what you have, and if not, try the small with your stuff but don't cut the tags and use it till you're sure you want to carry it. It's expensive enough you want to make sure it works for you! I think the small is a really great look and actually better proportioned looking (IMO). I LOVE it on abwd!! I seriously would have bought it in black had I not decided on the small whiplash fringe. The blue didn't speak to me that much, but it was the shade of blue I didn't love.

I just got my small whipstitch Dakotas and I also ordered the Bleecker L-zip wallet in purple iris. It's a good size wallet & there would still be room to spare if it were larger. I also have a small legacy cosmetic case, my new iPhone 6+, legacy two tone archival card case, and my keys in there! Hope that helps. I think the small is plenty big and I think will look better and more proportional to your small frame. I'm 5'7 and I don't find the small to be too small at all!

I think your wallet will work fine in the small - the small Dakota seems larger than the penny, and more flexible space-wise than the Willis (which is pretty structured).

I feel like Willis is smaller, especially shape, and penny too, so you should be fine. The collection stores are the stores selected to carry all the Vevers collection line. For me it's the same as the gallery and/or flagship stores of the past. There are 9 of these stores I was told. I had to drive an hour away because my local store is not one, but that store had gotten in a bag like yours as a return, so I got to try that one before today. If you look up and call the King of Prussia store in PA, they have been very helpful to me in the past by sending photos and giving info. I came back and ordered from local store rather than buy from KOP because I love the person at my local store, and I want them to stay in business too, but KOP had all of these bags. I also loved the nubuck and colorblock Rhyders, but they seem so huge for me now! The shearling bags and urban hiker boots were awesome too.

I'm 5'1" and petite and ordered both dakotahs from bloomies (separate orders to get the $100 off each). Large arrives tomorrow and I'm glad I ordered the small too just in case it turns out the large is too big on me! Sure wish I lived closer to Coach. My area's Macys has the worst selection.

Shoperadictgirl- Thinking that the 9 stores might be within a certain radius or district since I tried in store pickup for a bag in multiple states and got a lot more hits than 9 stores, but she may have also meant for the blue small Dakotah. Not sure, but you can search stores online that have the bag and then call that store and ask questions.

Oh yeah, and my Coach store price matched macys which was better deal than bloomies just for the one bag. They would match either.
