Honestly... the SAs used "reversibility" as an added feature to the Hamptons Nylon tote that I have, the inside has kind of a plastic feel, rather then fabric, with signature in white/lilac, and the pocket on the outside... So its supposed to be "great for the beach". I have never reversed it the whole time I've had it... and didn't really factor that in when purchasing it...
To me, it would really bother me having a gaping hole that anyone could peer in or reach their hand in. The H tote has a zippered top, snaps on the sides to "snug in" the bag towards your body if needed... The design of the two bags seems similiar (H tote was from outlets 2005), but it seems they left out the best features (top zip & side snaps) on the sig stripe tote!!!
Anyhow... JMO, I don't personally own a sig stripe tote, but if I did I would possibly use it to put books in or something I would be less worried about being stolen?
