I don't walk around with it, but I put it on my dresser for a few days so I can see it when I get home and I am watching tv. My Dauphine stayed out for three weeks. Maybe I'm not normal.
I do keep news ones in my sight for a while. They're just so much fun to see.

Your welcome, I'm glad to know I'm not alone and I suspected I couldn't possibly be the only one, I mean why not?! We don't necessarily need clothes in our homes but we put them on anyway, why not bags?My goodness! I feel completely normal now.

I kept mine on the night table last night, which I usually do no matter what I'm using, seems like the most logical place for it, if I have to suddenly evacuate in an earthquake that bag is coming with me!
I keep most of mine out to look at, that might not be that good for long term collecting, but...what fun is it if they are in a dustbag all the time?
If I am going to be in one room for any length of time, my bag goes with me because I keep my iPhone in it at all times. I always know where it is. If I get a call, I don’t want to have to race to another room. I never make it because the house is big and the person always hangs up. So I keep the bag close. This is my story and I am sticking to it.
I don't carry it (my bags are usually pretty big) but it sits on the corner of my desk and as I'm at my desk on my laptop looking at bags for a good part of each day...wait, that doesn't sound normal either does it?

...and the Kaffe Fassett collection foldover wallet on a chain in black...looks like I'll be selling something to pay for new bags again

Ok. I’m the oddball in the group. I don’t carry or stare at new bags in my house. I have too much else I’m into.
When I get my bags, I squeal with joy and have lots of fun inspecting and exploring the features of the bag. Then when I’m done, I happily put it in its place of honor in my closet. That’s enough for me. The happy lasts as I think of the bag and go about my day / evening.
That being said, I almost always wear my bag out and about within a day or two. I don’t ever have bags that become museum pieces. They’re always called into duty quickly because I’m so excited!! I will make up outfits / events / random reasons to wear my new bag ASAP. LOL!

ooooooh yes! like this! i call it 'playing with my bag', trying out combinations of pouches to put into, and end up with displaying the bag somewhere prominent where i can see and smell it all day long.
my cat hates my playing time, tho.
My bag is ALWAYS within arms reach.(new bag, old bag, whichever is the “bag’o the day”.)
