Does anybody else walk around the house with their new purse?

Because I do. Part of it is because I want to wear my latest and greatest even if I'm not going anywhere, but it's also more practical, I can get used to wearing it a certain way.

It also saves me from having to get up and go to the bedroom/bathroom for whatever I need, I have it all right there.

I'm going to be getting my long awaited Cassie this week. It's signature, so it's not on sale, I just couldn't make up my mind all this time I anticipate it getting a lot of use, even if I don't leave the house.

Just my cross bodies. I wore the LV croisette around the house because it was so light I forgot I had it on. I also wore my MCM crossbody around the house because I liked the looks of it and didn't want to take it off, lol.

Of course! Like playing dress-up for adults. Stand in the closet planning new looks, bag in hand or on shoulder or cross body. Great fun.

No. Only the first day I get a new bag I'll parade around in it for a while, maybe try it against a few outfits, take a few pictures. But wear it around the house, nope.

^^^This. And if I don't adore the bag when I look at it, and don't take it with me to other floors of my house when I move around so I can stare at it even more, I know that I need to return it.

I could see putting them somewhere prominent in the house, to me a bag is a work of art, and should be admired.

I don't have my Sadie's, D&B Lexington, or SLG'S out, but I can easily see myself doing one or the other with the Cassie.

I wondered about bag time too, for me it's when I spread out everything on the bed and begin experimenting with loading them up, I know some people just cram stuff in, but I could spend hours on it, so maybe their bag time is something similar?

I take two of my bags out of their dust bag at a time, sit them on the bed for the day and then rearrange their stuffing before putting them back in their dust bags.
I also keep the closet door ajar to provide circulation for the bags
