Other than one having brass and the other silver hardware, I notice quite a few get f/w 04 anis & the s/s 04 yellow confused. Even BNY sent me the wrong colored tassels, then it took months to get it corrected! Next to each other, it's pretty easy distinguishing which city is which. They're very different other than the light green undertone along the edges which is identical.

which color is close to the old 04 red that Sienna Miller has: 05 rouge theatre or 06 rouge vif?

pink, the rouge theatre is more of a blue red.

^^The 2006 Rouge Vif is the closest red to Sienna's City bag.

I only can show you the comparison '03 Red with the new '06 Rouge Vif, so you're absolutely right beaux...:

Why is it that sometimes Origan looks so green and other photos it looks almost taupe...or beige? Is it somewhere inbetween?

I just bought the Origan Day, waiting for it to come! Anxious!!!
