Thank you so much for your kind reply. I will have to decide whether I can live with these marks. Here are some pictures to better explain the wear I described. View attachment 4719282

hi again
As you know The naked leathers get marks and tend to get a distressed sort of look on their way to their unique patina . These leathers don’t dress up well after they get used they lend themselves to a casual earthy equestrian country type vibe generally .
Sometimes a soft pink eraser ✏️ can “gently” lift off surface type dirty marks from naked leathers
( if the mark has not stained and or migrated into the leather ).
I hope this helps ?

Hi Doc hope you're well?
I recently brought this pre-loved Paris-bombay she's in great condition but has some wear (scraping?) on the corners and some white marks on the base..
could this be spa'd?
also please recommend what I can use use to clean her with-
she's in clemence leather and other than these marks is in great condition..her interior is like new.Screenshot 2020-05-03 at 23.03.00.png

Hi There!
Yes indeed that bag can be spa-ed for certain. A wee bit of color touch up may be required to address the color loss on the worn away areas on the corners. You'll just want to make sure yo match your color well for a seamless restoration. Hermes can do this for you, or yo can take it to a trusted professional or even do it yourself.
Many brands make leather touch up paint/ color/dye Tarrago, Angelus ,Kelly, Saphir etc... you will want an actual leather paint/ colored finish type product not a dye for your project.
All the best,doc

Thanks so much for your swift response Doc.
And one more question-what general leather cleaning product would you recommend so that I can keep the leather in good condition and clean going forward
thank you so much you are a diamond !

Hi again
I like very mild cleanser for this skin I doNt recommend soaking it with water
It’s an oily skin I personally like meltonian all purpose cleaner conditioner although it’s hard to find at a decent price these days ( I think it’s discontinued) I also like saphir products very much although they’re pricy too. Cadillac makes a pretty good cleaner product use the “select “ type. Over cleaning I do not recommend actually because you can remove the finish on the leather if over zealous or neurotic just saying we can all get a bit over enthusiastic and kill a bag with kindness( yup I’ve seen it )
You know wiping a Clemence bag down with a water damp soft cloth might be all you’ll want to do unless you’ve got actual gunk or funk on it I have a thread in the Hernes reference section which lists my tried and true recommended products for most all the Hernes leathers and skins maybe go over a d have a gander ? Have fun with your beautiful Paris Bombay!
All the best doc

Hello! I just posted a separate thread and realized maybe better to just post here. New to this forum so apologies! I just came across this preloved B25 in graphite togo, which has been my dream bag for a long time. It does have some scratches and the colour appears to have been lifted. Is this something that can be fixed? I am open to taking it to the Hermes spa, but just wanted to check before I buy. Thanks so much!

Stay safe and have a great week xxx

Dear Doc,

I hope this one is eligiblle to be posted here. I have a fairly new Barenia Zoulou (no patina) and accidentally, a Post-It got stuck to it. When I noticed and removed it, it left a faint line with glue residue. It feels slightly raised and under direct light appears shiny. It is not that obvious, but since the Zoulou is hardly used, it does bother me. Is there anything I can do about it or will any fixing/cleaning attempts only make it worse and I should better leave it the way it is?

Thanks and have good day

Hi There,
How bad is it?
You might want to see if you can place a piece of white paper to it and see if it lifts on to the paper at all ? Then try it again with like a gentle sweep of a finger tip over the paper over the area of the adhesive... try that.... first.
Check back in with results... and a photo maybe?
all the best,doc
