I try to match the stones. Diamonds, sapphires, pearls, etc.
I did go crazy when Judith Ripka came out with her pink quartz silver/18kt jewelry...earrings, necklace and ring. Fun in the summer, with a tan, and didn't break the bank.

I have bought quite a few matching sets of jewellery. Sometimes I wear them together and sometimes I wear a fixture of things .
I have two daughters age 17 and 24 and they both love to borrow matching pieces .
Ultimately anything goes so just wear what ever you love and don't worry about what other people might think .

I wear pieces that have something in common, but not matching sets. Most of my earrings are simple because I wear eyeglasses most of the time. If I wear a necklace with stones, I'll usually wear simple earrings of the same metal, usually studs or hoops. And if my necklace is simple metal, I might wear earrings with stones or pearls. The focus is on the necklace OR the earrings OR neither (never both).

Usually not but I have a Tiffany sparkler set in paresolite that I love. But I always layer the necklace when I wear it. I don't have the ring and I'm feeling a strong need to get it. The necklace and earrings are cushion cut and the ring is emerald cut and ginormous so I think it would break things up a little. I really do need it, don't you think? :)

I match jewelry but it depends on my mood and what I am wearing. Except when I wear statement pieces - I usually wear an earring and a neclace or a necklace and a ring, or an earring and bracelet -just two pieces at most.

I never wear matching sets as such but I do wear matching stones (wouldn't combine pearl studs with a diamond pendant for instance) and try to match metals, although have become slightly more adventurous recently with mixing metals after being inspired by photos on here!
