for me the bun makes my hair more tame when it comes out - smoother and more wavy. at least that's what it's been doing this week. But when the bun comes out.... instant poof lol
LOLYes, I do wear makeup at home.
I am vain at all times and under all circumstances.
My UPS man used to be OAF, I would not want to disappoint him too much
That business about letting your skin breaths and what have you. For what? It can breath while I am asleep just as well.
What is going on?
Between the posts praising savings and restrains and now a call for eliminating grooming?
Is it the end?
I know someone at work who says she feel she needs to wear makeup and look good for her husband.hard to imagine feeling like you can't let your husband see your "real" face....and this woman I was talking about was pretty. Not that I ever saw her w/o makeup but she looked pretty to me.
some sort of insecurity on your friend's part I guess. My DH doesn't seem to be able to tell the difference when I wear makeup. but makeup, hair down, "real" clothes on, I think I do look a lot better than with the sweats and bun.I know someone at work who says she feel she needs to wear makeup and look good for her husband.
She’s a busy mom with a new baby too. I feel bad for her.
I told her, girl, you’re already married, give yourself a break! (And I’ve seen her without makeup, totally fine and she’s still young! In her 20s)
Yes, she is, it’s an internal issue unfortunately.some sort of insecurity on your friend's part I guess. My DH doesn't seem to be able to tell the difference when I wear makeup. but makeup, hair down, "real" clothes on, I think I do look a lot better than with the sweats and bun.
Oh,I’d never eliminate grooming, apples and oranges… I barely wear makeup, I have no need to apply it if I’m in for the day.

My husband also sometimes can’t tell. He says my makeup is too natural. Apparently he’s used to seeing a lot of city girls in his home country with a lot of makeup
But he could care less for the most part.
When I try something different with my makeup he does notice though. Generally gives a comment that he likes it. (And I’m like well it takes too much effort so don’t be expecting it on the daily!)

That's exactly what I do on the weekends (when I'm off from work). I don't do anything except apply a longwear lipstick so I don't have to worry about it for the day. Otherwise, hair goes up and no makeup, usually a sweatshirt and leggings, or my North Face sweatpants which are sooooo comfortable, and sneakers.when I'm home I wear no makeup and dress for comfort - sweats, etc. Hair in pony or bun. I feel kinda bad for my DH but I figure he knows what I look like.
I knew a woman with a cheating husband who would get up every morning and apply full makeup before he saw her.
Do you dress nicely and wear makeup at home?
