There is this thing called FOMO and I suffer with it LOL (fear of missing out) so once upon a time, I spent a LOT buying purses. But in order to buy without having to spend, I sold some of the ones I never used because they just sat in their dustbags :( I didn't regret it too much, but now that I have a daughter (surprise baby #4 after 3 boys) I wish I kept them in case she was into luxury bags and I can pass them onto her, but whose to say she will be into LV. I have downgraded my collection to what I REALLY LOVE and actually use. For now, I am content with my collection as I am trying to be better with my spending.

I’ve sold a lot of my LV bags - I’m basically just left with the classics now (neverfull MM, speedy b 25 & 30, alma bb)

I’ve been through so many trendy/seasonal pieces that I’ve realized how much money I’ve wasted as these bags also do not hold their value.

so true, if anything, I took a loss every time I sold and it makes me sick to my stomach on how much $ I spent

I have sold some with regrets and some without. I think everyone should do what is best for them. I do have 4 bags that I don’t use that are discontinue. I have not gotten to the point that I can let them go without regret yet

I've began downsizing my Keepall collection to two core pieces and I sell if there is a piece I feel I'd be upgrading to. I've definitely felt FOMO but it helps when the SA can't help you as it's lighter on my wallet.

How much does it cost to do this out of interest? I have a speedy I'd love to have the vachetta replaced on.
Just to let you know. I brought my Speedy 40 in this weekend to have the vachetta fully replaced, including the inside pocket, and they quoted me $900. I thought that was insane, but I decided to go ahead with it anyway. I'm surprised it is going to end up costing a lot more than what my Noe cost, since the Noe has a lot more vachetta, but maybe it'll be cheaper when I pick it up. Like what happened to my Noe, since they quoted me $300 more initially. They also quoted me 14-15 weeks.

You never know. My daughter is 22 and has no desire or even cares about luxury bags, especially LV. She uses a book bag as her purse lol. Gotta love her! Saves me a lot of money at least :graucho:

Ok thanks. I got my speedy out the other day and it wasn't as bad as I remembered so will leave it for now.

My 2 are the same don't care about designer anything but I am sure they will still appreciate them when I finally hand them over from my deathbed. They just don't looks like they'll ever be interested in buying or obsessing about them as much as I do. Always worth holding on to for them anyway.
