Usually I have a bag for a little while and then I get bored and sell it. That of course has come with some regrets (pochette accessoires). But there are so many bags I would like to get and then that will leave others unused. Just wondering what others do. Like I have a Vintage Petite Noe that I never use.....but when I think about selling it, I feel like it's such a bad idea because I'll never be able to buy it back for what I purchased it for. Same with my Neverfull.
Just wondering what others do....if you have a bag you never use do you just "save" it as part of your collection or pass it one and update?

Ive sold a lot items while going my journey. Only bags, eva Pochette, PA DE, speedy 30, NeoNoe Rose, Metis Reverse, Noe mono bb.. and more. I’m not regretting it only the PA DE I do regret because you can’t repurchase it at all and I’ve sold it in 2018 for only 250€. Now a new one costs 800€! That’s crazy!
i think you should keep items where you might regret it, if you feel 100% sure you won’t miss it it’s better so sell it and use it to other funds.
not to forget to mention that our lifestyle changes constantly almost, like when your not a mother of s small child you don’t need so much but since I’m a mum of a small child I’m getting more bigger bags too. And besides is also the so called trend. Long story short, it’s important to do what you heart and mind says what’s right

I’ve never sold a bag. I keep bags even if I’m not using them at the moment. And just add to my collection. There’s been a few that I just didn’t like at all anymore, and knew I would never use again. I gave those to my mom and daughter. But overall, I know what specific things I like and don’t like in a bag. I don’t follow trends. I only buy what I like, and works for me.

I save my bags even I dont wear some of them

Most I just keep and see if I come back to it in a year or 2. But if it's a bag I've had for a few years and only used once or twice, I will evaluate why I haven't used it. If it's for a reason that isn't likely to change, then I will sell it. An example is the Twice I have in rose ballerine. It's a beautiful color but because it's pink, I almost never use it because I don't want to worry about color transfer and it also doesn't really hold as much as I'd like. Those reasons aren't going to change so I decided to sell it. But the majority of things I've just kept "for later".

I sell some bags that look passe or that aren't useful. I only have a few LV classic pieces since it's honestly (sorry!) not my favorite house. I don't use them that much but would *never* dream of selling them because they're just so indestructible and the classic pieces are pretty timeless, so I know they'll be in good shape and still be chic whenever I decide to wear them again.

I used to sell my bags a lot. Once I would get tired of them, I don’t want them taking I’m space in my closet when I know someone out there will love and use the bag.

I am (finally) at a point where I am mostly happy with my collection so nothing is on the chopping block right now but it can change quickly for me.

I can also honestly say, I’ve only ever regretted selling one bag. And I did rebuy it.

I don't sell either. To be honest, I usually wait for a while before I make a purchase just to make sure I really want that bag or other. I rarely buy in a spur of the moment - it happend twice and one purchase turned out to be a regret as I never wore the bag (Pallas MM with a beautiful but now discontinued Havane colour - bought it on a first day of it's release) whilst the other was a great success (Bi-colour Pochette Metis - couldn't part with it the minute I got my hands on it).
I don't intend to sell my Pallas MM despite never using it as I keep it as a reminder that not every beautiful bag I see needs to be purchased by me and that it's ok more often than not to admire from afar .

I do sell LV items when I'm bored of them or want to fund new things. I find it mentally upsetting to see bags in my closet that aren't getting use so I'd rather get rid of them. Fashion isn't static; I think fashion and bags are meant to evolve and change often, and so should a collection. I have regretted selling a few LV pieces but there's always new items to take their place.

I buy to keep. I don’t need a boatload of handbags/SLGs and buy those that fit my style. Every time I start looking at other handbags I find myself thinking, well this already bag fits that need.

I have only returned one bag - Graceful PM because it was MIU and it did not wow me on my body.

The two spur of the moment purchases - PA in DA last year and Alma BB in DE this year both MIF - was due to their scarcity. I love all of my handbags.

I try to be thoughtful and research bags that will fit how I dress and lifestyle. I buy with the intention to keep as well; however, I have sold a few bags because of functionality that annoyed me so much I stopped carrying. Only one LV - Hampstead MM (too heavy), Gucci SOHO (it kept flipping over), Givenchy Antigona Small (the opening was too small/tight).

I used to sell (or gift cheaper) bags I didn't use anymore back when I needed the money for the next purchase. I regret so many of them that I sold that I've rebought those that I could or similar to what I had.
Now I just keep in my collection for when I want to use them again, if that's never then that's OK.
