Do You Think the Reg JUC with Diamonds Is Worth It?

Just curious how you feel about the regular JUC bracelet with diamonds…do you personally think it’s worth 5k more than the plain regular JUC bracelet?

I struggle with the JUC line. I have the small plain JUC and sometimes regret it…however, I’m not a huge fan of the plain regular. The diamond one is gorgeous but I can’t justify 5k more for such a small amount of diamonds. In my head, I think I could get a plain regular JUC and use the extra 5k to get a diamond JUC ring OR a VCA Guilloche bracelet OR a diamond tennis bracelet OR another Love cuff. Just curious what you all think.
I have had the regular JUC bracelet with diamonds on my wishlist for six years now but was always on the fence whether to bring it home. I am finally ready because even after six years, that piece makes my heart skip a beat every time I try it in the store. That’s how I know, it’s not just a momentary fling, but will be a long lasting love :heart:

It’s worth it to us if the benefits outweigh the cost. If you plan to wear it non stop think how quickly that cost per wear will go down!

I am in the minority here. I own both versions and wear the plain one a lot more. The one with diamonds ends up looking too fancy sometimes. I don’t know why because i wear a 10 diamonds Love everyday and I think it never looks too much

Could it be because you’re already wearing the 10 diamonds love, and adding the diamond JUC pushes it over the top for you?

It’s all so subjective and personal. I wasn’t actually pushing the OP to buy the one with diamonds - I was just trying to say to trust your gut when you actually have the bracelet (or whatever) on your body.

I had the same dilemma a few years ago.

I’m on the thrifty side myself. As difficult as it is, I have found it helpful to put this mindset aside when it comes to luxury goods. Luxury and thrifty — mutually exclusive (my opinion, of course).

I echo others — try all bracelets you’re interested on. This is key.

I ended up with the regular JUC w/ diamonds. Yes, it is worth it to me. I’ve not looked back and thought “hmm, could’ve gotten 2 bracelets for the price of this one”. Seriously, never, because I got the one I wanted.

Good luck deciding! You cannot go wrong with Cartier.

If you can, go to the boutique and try it on. You may get your answer in that moment.

I was never a fan of the JUC, based solely upon the photos I saw of them here and on other websites. I went to the boutique in June, expecting to buy my first Love. When I was underwhelmed with the Love, the SA started fitting me with other bracelets. As soon as she put on the regular JUC in yellow gold with diamonds, my heart skipped a beat! I adored the edginess of the design and the contrast of the warm gold and cool diamonds. I went on to try the plain one but it left me cold. I went ahead and bought that baby and I smile when I look at it 300+ times a day.

Try it on. If you still find yourself weighing its costs vs other items/lines, the bracelet isn’t for you. If you happen to fall in love, like I did, you’ll never look back.

100% agree! Last year when I went into the boutique I was 99.9% sure I was going to get the classic love bracelet because the one with diamonds made no sense for how much extra it is. But when I tried it on, my heart was fluttering! I decided I was just going to get the one with diamonds and ever since I'm so glad I went with the diamond options. I admire it every day! At the end of the day, the markup is unreal on all the jewlery, diamonds or no diamonds. You're paying for the name and once you kind of accept that, it's no different than buying $$$$ for leather handbags lol.

I wear the regular JUC with diamonds daily. It is a beautiful piece! I echo what most others here have already said- if you’re looking at it from a purely financial perspective it is not worth it. The amount of gold and diamonds on their own is not “worth” the price. What makes the bracelet worth it, is how much you love it and how much joy it brings you

That being said, there have been multiple times I’ve looked down at my wrist and laughed to myself- the JUC with diamonds cost more than my first car!

LOL. I know right!

I have the plain regular WG JUC. I like the one with diamonds too but because of the industrial nature of the design, I preferred it without diamonds. However, I think if I were to buy the YG version it would have been with diamonds as the YG makes the design more jewellery like - if that makes sense. All Cartier items are expensive, many multiples more than the raw materials. But you’re paying for brand, history, service, workmanship, design etc.

Ultimately as others have said, you have to buy the one you really love even if that means saving up for longer. If you buy cheap, you’ll buy twice! Because you won’t be happy if you feel you’ve had to compromise on what you really wanted.

Hi everyone. So after mulling it over more, I think I would like to add the Clash and the JUC bracelet with diamonds. I am not that happy with my slim plain JUC. It’s starting to warp and just feels too blah for me. However, due to price, I will need to be very careful. I don’t have the budget for both bracelets this year, and with price increases eventually happening I want to be strategic.

I can either get the Clash this year OR the regular diamond JUC bracelet. If I get the Clash, it would immediately go with my current stack as I already have the slim JUC bracelet. Or I could save up more and get the diamond JUC, but that would be it for the year. (And note I am still struggling with the mental justification for the diamond one…also considering the JUC ring as a more affordable option.)

What do you think? Adding some pics of me trying on both in the boutique.

Honestly I didn’t feel the JUC with the diamonds was justified see my other post on this. It felt flimsy and not substantial for the price so I ended up returning it. Of course I understand it’s a personal preference and end of the day we are paying for the brand.

I am considering the regular JuC with diamonds. I won’t get the slim one again. The regular is just so hefty at 12k. Did you end up getting the regular JuC with diamonds?

Get the JUC with diamonds. It’s beautiful and such an easy piece to wear. Once wearing it all those “is it worth it” feelings will disappear when you start to enjoy it. I always suggest getting the more expensive one first just to avoid any potential price increase if you know it’s something you will get regardless. I have both clash and JUC with diamonds and I love them! I actually love them more than my loves.
