They did have the speedy in epi b. I know you won't want preloved, the bag on FP below just made me think of your search. Why not just get DE? I wouldn't worry too much about the discreet factor if it's what you really want. :yes:

Obviously you could buy a more discreet bag from Vuitton (something in plain leather, for instance) but honestly I don't think the average person, at least where I live, would know that DE was LV, so I'd say it's quite discreet. Unless you're into luxury bags, you probably wouldn't immediately recognise anything except the monogram print.

So I personally think that any Speedy & Neverfull in printed canvas is super recognizable as LV be it DE or monogram, because it's just everywhere. If you get the DE in any other shape, then maybe not so much. But it is definitely more discreet than monogram, it's a classic, and there is really nothing wrong with liking and wearing the bag. So I'd say go for it if you really like it!

I think DE is more discreet than Mono. Those who are into handbags will recognize the print but those that aren't wont. I have friends who would recognize LV Mono but not DE or DA. And they don't know premium bags enough to recognize a Neverful or Speedy - this it must be an LV even though it's not monogram. Basically they equate LV with the monogram print only and knowledge of the brand goes no further.

It really depends on your city and social circle as to whether the brand/DE will be recognized or not.

Is that true? I recently came across something on the website and my SA said it had been discontinued for a year and wasn’t sure why it was still on the website. I definitely thought SC‘s were discontinued!

Europe said they still had some kicking around in stock in limited sizes and colours and that they had recent production.

I mean, you could find exactly what you want if you were willing to open up your search to near-new from Fashionphile etc, but if not I would suggest waiting until you score the bag you really want new, rather than compromising. DE is very different to black empreinte and where I live anyway, the DE Speedy is pretty common.
