I was just wondering, as i've never taken mine off since the day it was put on my finger. This is simply sentimental reasons, i love looking at my wedding ring and knowing that my DH placed it there :heart: I've even had bad dreams where for whatever reason i've taken it off and i wake up so relieved it was just a dream. Does that sound crazy :smile1: Its jaust a plain 3mm platinum band but i love it. Was just wondering if i'm on my own here.

But mine is admittedly large, so not comfortable to sleep in or practical to do some activities whilst wearing it.
If it were a simple band I'd leave it on always.

constantly - it scares away all the cute men in the bars. :p

ok, serious now - i take off all jewelry when working with the horses, and i don't wear rings (or pearls) swimming (cool water shrinks fingers and makes it easy to lose a ring).

I take my rings off after I get home from work. I often don't wear them on the weekends either unless I'm going out.

However, my mom says the safest place for your rings is your finger!

I normally take my wedding and engagement rings off at bedtime when I take my contacts out, and then put them back on after I finish my makeup and hair the next morning. Unless DH is gone and I'm missing him - those nights I leave it on because I like waking up to it.

If my wedding band were plain, though, I don't think I'd ever take it off.

I take it off before I go to bed. I forgot to put it on one morning and realized it about 3/4 of the way to work (about 10 miles) and YES, I drove back home to get it. I just knew that I would feel awkward without it and be distracted. Luckily, I go to work well before I'm actually supposed to be there....

i take all my jewelry off as soon as i'm home. i frequently put lotion on my hands so it's just easier not to have any jewels on. in addition, i never wear my rings to bed. my fingers are usually swollen in the morning so it makes wearing any rings uncomfortable when i wake up. the only times i will wear rings to bed is when i get something new and i don't want to take it off just yet. LOL recently, DH woke up one morning to find my hand near his face with my big new bling and freaked!

Nope. I leave mine on. :tup: I have one exception--right now--our drain in our shower doesn't have a cover on it and it's just an open hole, so until we get that fixed I take off all my rings when showering.

Hell, I leave all of my jewelry on, all of the time. I never take off my rings, bracelets, earings or necklaces. I eat, sleep, clean, etc in my jewelry. This is just the way I've always been. I take good care of my jewelry and it shows, and I'm smart about it if I'm doing something extreme, then I'll remove my goods. :p I bought my jewelry because I loved it and wanted to wear it, so that's what I do, I enjoy it!!! :graucho:
