Do you prefer gold or silver hardware on your bags?

I think it really depends on the bag. I have bags with silver, gold and antiqued brass. Overall, I tend to think yellow gold jewelry is more flattering to my complexion than is silver, though I have both.

I prefer silver mostly BUT it depends on the designer with the gold - I love the way Gucci does gold (very quietly) Do not like Chanel gold - I had a Chanel tote that I had to sell because I couldn't stand the bright gold in it.

I prefer brass colored hardware, like the Kooba Jillian. That tones down the brassiness of gold.

The new silver hardward on some Gustto's is very nice.

Normally I would choose silver but some colours might match nicer with gold. Like a dark brown bag will look better with gold I think.

Definitely silver if I have a choice. Sometimes depends on the bag color... I like silver with neutrals and cool tones, and gold with warm tone bags.
