Generally I seem to gravitate to golf HW but it ultimately depends on the bag color.

Silver. I cannot stand gold on myself.
It's the same thing with jewelry, everyone knows to get me white gold instead of yellow gold.

It depends on the bag for me. Most of mine have silver HW (I feel that's more casual), but I have one gray bag with gold HW and I think the color combo is just dreamy

Definitely silver, but it depends. I have a couple of bags with gold hardware (particularly a black patent one) that look great.

I do like both gold and silver hardware, but I feel like it really depends on the style and/or color of the bag. I think that gold hardware has more of a classic vibe, whereas silver (my current favorite at the moment) is more rock and roll/edgy

Silver....gun metal or brass. Don't care too much for gold tone. It will make or break a bag for me.
