Do you notice less people carrying LV?

Where I live, you rarely see LV bags and the boutiques are more than an hour away. Imagine my surprise when I saw 5 LV bags on my short walk out of church on Sunday. They were all DE and DA bags.

In my suburb younger people (the children) seem to have lululemon belt bag but 30 yo and up (the parents) will carry designer, usually LV with neverfull being by far the most popular.

I also notice this too! I thought it was just me, but it does seem like less people are carrying LV bags now. I do notice some wearing other designer bags like YSL or Gucci now.

I’ve also noticed less people carrying LV. If see one it’s usually a neverfull or a speedy.

I was in London recently and only really saw Neverfulls and maybe a Speedy or two. Rarely see the higher price point LVs. Even my husband is ‘trained’ to spot them so we have two pairs of eyes looking!

I'm in cad and was just at the mall and they're everywhere! I actually notice more ppl wth LV and it's the newest seasonal items too or small trunks so I always end up staring at I love the trunk box bag but can't justify the price 🥲

This just my observation, obviously.. but l live in an area that's considered upper middle class or wealthy-ish, and I rarely see women carrying LVs on the daily anymore. If I do, it's an old beat-up Neverfull but that's about it.

It seems like everyone is wearing the Lululemon crossbody belt bags or some other brand of belt bag. I myself have also stopped carrying one as my every day bag and switched over to the Lululemon belt bag several months ago. It's quick and convenient. I have two small LV purses now (the Eva and the Loop) which I only pull out now for date nights or going out with friends.

It's weird.. generally I feel embarrassed to carry anything lower than LV (just being real here) - like I would never carry a Nine West purse, but I am totally fine wearing a $39 Lululemon belt bag because they are in style and everyone else here is wearing them.

Has anyone else noticed this in their areas?

Couldn’t help but notice your screen name. In that area I have seen some On the Go totes. But, the belt bags seem to be out in full force.

I see less LVs than I did like 10 years ago. They are usually neverfulls, speedy, or the one with the guitar strap.

I think people are shifting to goyard amd ysl where I live.

I do notice a lot of bad LV fakes too.

OMG I saw a horrific fake LV backpack at Costco Saturday that a woman was carrying. It was so hideous. If only these people knew better. I could spot it a mile away, it was so bad.

Agreed. Seeing all of the obviously fake neverfulls makes me not really want to wear mine

Where I live, Coach, Michael Kors and Kate Spade rule the world. Probably because I live near an outlet mall that has all of those brands. Having said that, Louis Vuitton is still the most "seen" luxury bag in these parts. I see the Pochette Metis, Neverfull, Alma and the Speedy 25 a lot. So Louis is till king of the lux. I don't think I've ever seen the Lululemon bag you speak of.
