Do you match your wallet to you bag?

I did a search and couldn't find this topic in the recent history.

I change my bag daily but I tend to use a wallet for months without changing....and it rarely matches the bag I am carrying...

Do people here tend to change the wallet with each bag or do you use one wallet for a long time?

I'm interested as to what is the "norm"....

No I don't ever change my wallet - I have a small (very small, but large enough) Mulberry Smithfield wallet that matches most of my bags, but not all of them. But it is small enough for an evening out and even fits into my clutches and pouches, whilst still holding everything I need, so I don't really see a point in changing my wallet all the time. But, having said that, I don't really think there is a 'norm' in wallet use - just do whatever suits you!

Don´t change mine either, that would take up way too much time.
I have a great Burberry wallet and I mostly wear Miu Miu purses, so they don´t really match at all.

i never change my wallet till im about ot buy a new one but i dont change it the way i change bags not at all..

I never choose wallets to match my bags. Instead I select what works for me, in terms of colour, shape, etc. Also, I refuse to pay a high price for a wallet. A couple of days ago I bought a gorgeous Cynthia Rowley green leather wallet in TK Maxx, for about £15. I bought the wallet because of the price, style (and the fact that it was a long wallet). And I also have to thank tPF, because I had never heard of CR until I joined here and have never seen any of her bags. But I made a bee-line for the CR wallet as it was the only one left in the store!

I don't change my wallet often but when I buy a different brand of bag I have to get a matching wallet which will then be my new wallet even if I'm using a different bag.

I never change my wallet. Right now I have a Jaune Balenciaga Money wallet that I love to death. Eventually it will wear out and I'll buy another wallet that I will carry for years. Wallet = years, Purses = days.

Nope! I have been using a cream colored Coach zip wallet for about two years now. Before that I had a generic wallet with a butterfly that I bought from NYC. My wallets get used to death before I move on to the next one. I try to purchase a wallet that will look good regardless of the bag that I am using.
