I have this color in the classic size. It's not an exciting color but with the right outfit it can look really classy. I wore this while at a meeting in SF and received a lot of compliments on it with my outfit.

It looks fabulous on you!! I've always shied away from Chanel beige (I actually had a lot of the same reservations as you) but this just might change my mind. Considering it's such a classic color, it looks really hip and fresh -but maybe because I'm used to seeing a lot of black jumbos!
