i bought this one for my girlfriend 2 weeks ago http://www.amazon.com/Juicy-Couture-Velour-Classic-Daydreamer/dp/B002SFDMKK/ref=pd_sbs_a_2

im thinking bout returning after reading all the comments here. not that im a follower or dont believe in my choice, its just that, im a guy and i dont know much about handbags, whats hot or not or whats "in".

i spent like 130 on it, which is not much. what you guys think? i was thinking about gettin her something a little semi-formal. it does starting to look like it would better suit a middle schooler. she is 19 btw

I would love to get a Juicy daydreamer like that, and I bet your girlfriend will love it too.
Black is a good color (the best IMHO) because it won't show wear as much as some of the lighter colors.

Don't worry, Juicy Couture bags like this one are for all ages.

As far as the comments by the posters here, "to each his own."
Some like JC bags and some don't, same with all the other brands of bags here on this forum.
Also the people here are from all stages in life, some will spend like $5000 on one bag, so opinions will vary greatly, KWIM?

hi katie.. thanks for your opinion. its not worried about wear n tear. i am more worried if the design is appropriate for her age and if its not too childish to have that in public. not tryin to give off cheap vibe. i personally havent seen any women in mall wearing these velour bags yet so im not too sure. i can always return and add $100 more to get something more reliable that will last longer with style too. what you guys think. im interested to hear from others here. all advice is appreciated.

thanks.. she is outta country so its a surprise gift. i dont mind being a trendsetter but like i said i dont know much bout womens fashion, so i dont want to try being trendy with something i dont have any knowledge about. so thats why i am curious to hear from the women here. im in us, i see women rockin juicy products but havent seen anybody carrying velour handbag yet. i know they always have it at nordstrom and they lady told me its their top seller. so i wonder who is the demographics.

illswagga: I agree with the other ladies who posted their opinions about the black velour daydreamer you got for your friend. However, if you are NOT comfortable giving it to your friend as that's the vibe I am getting from your replies, then I think you should just get her another bag instead.

Although I think Daydreamers are great at any age, I have to agree. If you are having doubts, then return it. Bags are kind of personal, and it would be hard to buy a bag for someone else.

Can't go wrong with good jewelry though...

im not really sure to be honest. still deciding

lol finding women handbags is the hardest thing ive done in my life when it comes to shopping.

i did however bought her killer JC shades!

No, I'm not a fan, I think they're very ostentatious. They'd be totally adorable IMO for a young niece, and I would actually use one as a gym bag because it would be totally cute in a kitschy sort of way, but I wouldn't carry it as my handbag because I personally feel the style is too young for me (I'm 26) and also I'm at a stage where I want well made, long lasting genuine leather bags.

To the guy who asked about whether he should keep it for his GF...I'd say it depends on her style. If she's really into labels, and showing off labels, and she owns any of the VS sweats that say PINK across the butt and wears them out to the mall...then yeah keep it. Otherwise I'd say that a handbag is something that really is an expression of self, and it might be awkward if she feels expected to use something that is too flashy for her own personal tastes.

I say get her a pair of sunglasses, or a simple gold pendant (if you know whether she prefers white or yellow gold that is) like one of the ones that have a heart with a single diamond, the pendant would be about the same cost as the bag but it's more romantic, and since it's a romantic gift it's going to be rare to find a woman who won't wear it to show off what her BF got her :)

Something like this can't go wrong http://www.amazon.com/White-Diamond-3-Stone-Pendant-Clarity/dp/B000O1QM8E

it bothers me as well that its a bit flashy and im not sure of the velor, i like leather. i like more classy & elegant looking bags. i ocassionally do like some flashy stuff but it has to be right. she definitely doesnt wear any VS sweats, or the stuff that says "juicey" on the booty lol. that looks trashy to me for some reason

wise words, ill go with that. any suggestions? within 200-300 range? i think i might just keep this one for casual stuff, and buy another one for formal use. also, i did get her JC sunglasses, they look very nice.

what you guys think of this one? its yellow snake embossed handbag but not too bright.. is yellow "in" right now or no? keep in mind shes 19 http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3070100...rdsearch&keyword=perlina&origin=searchresults

I have a black velour tracksuit, I only really wear it on long haul flights.

I used to own a tonne of Juicy clothing and a few bags too a few years back. I've grown out of it now and my younger sister has it all now.
