I'm in high school and I've had people ask me (both male and female) if my bags are real.

I just ask them back... 'What do you think? If it looks fake to you, it must be fake then!'

Kind of snobby and maybe rude but their fault for asking! It so inappropriate to just ask someone as if you're sizing them up...

Besides, I buy LV by myself from working... my parents don't buy me designer bags or clothes! Be proud of your accomplishments, I say!

I don't lie outright, but try to direct the conversation differently like, "what do you think?", or "it's amazing how good a repilica is these days" then talk about something else, like their bags. It's amazing how people are eager to talk about themselves :-)

No, most people around me know that I'm a LV fanatic and travel all the way to Amsterdam to buy from the boutique. However, I wouldn't brag about it since people with bad intentions still exist..
