Well personally i believe you can wear what you like but you just may be more inclined to wear a cross being christian. Personally i would wear a cross being christened but not really religious but i would also wear hamsa bracelets and have a lucky buddha. I am interested in religion and would like both a cross and a buddha charm on my pandora bracelet. Sorry for the rant i just say wear what you like with pride! :)

I need to look it up . . . I have no clue about Celtic crosses and their symbolism, I just love the way they look!
I LOVE crosses, all shapes and designs, can't help it.

See while I don't see a cross as you are Christian I'd guess you are religious and have some belief in Christianity, I would see a rosary or Celtic cross as being tied to those specific religious cultures, same for a Om or Star of David

to me, you wear it to proclaim your faith. You wear it because you are a believing christian and are proud of it, not for hope or for protection, but to show your love for god with it. To show your faith, just like someone would wear a star of david to proclaim their belief in judaism, i would find it odd if someone was wearing a cross for 'hope" or just for fun, to me, if i see someoen wearing a cross, i believe they are christian.

Oh, and catholics usually wear crucifixes, not usually plain crosses, though of course, they can wear either.l

That's interesting, I never realized crucifixes were considered a Catholic thing. I'm Christian (not Catholic) and I wear both regular crosses and crucifixes, I just liked the crucifixes b/c they were a little different from my blingy crosses. My grandma is Catholic and she wears her diamond cross everyday, I have never seen her with a crucifix.

I'm baptized a christian orthodox, but I don't believe and I don't wear a cross, in fact I sold a cross I had when I needed money for 2 plane tickets. I like rosaries especially those with the pearls, but I don't like wearing religious symbols on me. I also wouldn't wear Celtic crosses, Buddhas, swastikas, yin yang, oms, anything that would represent god, deities, or symbols of spiritual/religious meaning.
